So I hear that Barton is part of the Five Live team tonight commenting on Transfer Deadline Day.

When will this nonsense get stopped?

Barton + the transfer window makes me think of one word:

... if only.

This needs to stop. Our manager and coaching staff are not committed to our club. To think that we pay them way above what they are worth and yet allow them to feather their nests elsewhere.

That's as may be Dave, but one half decent performance doesn't give him carte blanche to slag everyone else off, especially after some right old stinkers.

not defending Lord Joseph of Barton but he wasn't picking out players and the key word was 'WE', so hopefully he punched himself in the face as a form of punishment for his own moments of 'fukking about'.

not sure he was slagging them all off, he did say we so assume he was including himself, obviously would have been better if he had kept quiet though but we all know what he's like

I don't think the Royal "we" is in Joey's locker. He's like a stick of rock, you cut slices off him and it says "Joey" right through to the bitter end.

Thats if you can get bitter seaside rock.....

JB’s latest twaat - ‘Deadline day is like Xmas Eve for all football fans.'

The kind of evening where your unstable uncle arrives to extort your pocket money, fiddle inside your trousers, and render the family drinks cabinet dry before engaging in a full-on brawl with anyone within 5 metres, followed by kicking in the sideboard and leaving a trail of puke & emotional debris in his wake. Ahh...yes… Xmas eve…

What's the issue. Barton is articulate and knowledgeable. Do we expect him to live like a hermit between games and training sessions?

My hope/suggestion would be focus your efforts on your football, stay out of the spotlight, avoid unnecessary attention whilst your team focuses on its sole goal of staying in the Premier League....

As mentioned before he was on 5 Live a couple of weeks ago and kept using the phrase 'Leader of Men' e.g. 'Manuel Arteta is a good player, but not a Leader of Men'.

Definitely going through an Ernest Hemingway phase.

... or could be having an early Joy Division phase.

We certainly have an apt captain for the most crappiest embarrassing phase in the club's history. His leaving in the summer is the light at the end of this long dark tunnel of a season.

That article is incredible. Direct mistakes and shit performances that have led to losing away from home? How about at Everton, being directly responsible for 2 goals? Or a direct assist for he Walters hat-trick?

I can;t wait for hm to be someone else's problem.

Yep we do and no days off for anyone at all, ever.

Anyone not training/playing 24/7 is basically not committed to our great club.

no one is advocating that Pinner so I don't know why you keep going on about it

simple fact is Barton is a dog of a player who is a ledged in his own mind
now if we were a mid table team and Barton even played above average he could be forgiven for doing the odd stint in the media and gracing us with his meticulous thoughts on all things football & politics
the fact he is playing sh1t, for a team who hasn't even picked up a point away from home whilst coining 80k a week large is a bit hard for some fans to take,

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore
