He's got a valid point in that Pulis was used to having big cheques from Bet365 folks at Stoke but with what he achieved for them last year off little/no spend you would've expected some middle ground to be found. Ego's getting in the way and nice to view carnage from the sidelines for a change.
Tony Pulis on 08:57 - Aug 15 with 2336 views | TGRRRSSS | One the one hand Palace critiscised for trying to keep a lid on things, on the other Pulis is a genius cos he kept them up. So whilst Media critiscise TF and co for spending too much (yes clearly they did), they also critiscise Parrish now for trying to be careful and stick to budgets. Which one is it, it is it purely results on the field? Parrish does come across as a Jordan lite and a bit of a tit (worse to be a parody of someone I think) but if he is trying to be prudent it isnt the worst thing in the world with FFP coming in. Tony Pulis on 22:28 - Aug 14 by SpiritofGregory | It will end in tears as Malky likes to spend money and Palace are skint. |
Skint? Says who? Two years of the new TV contract money and guaranteed parachute payments, can't see how they are skint. Haven't exactly got any mega stars (Exactly why Pulis walked)
Tony Pulis on 09:27 - Aug 15 with 2291 views | Phildo | They have had a nice run of owners havent they : Noades, Goldberg,Jordan and now Parish. The owners there have a plan to extract cash and try and rebuild smelhurst so they need a manager who will toe the line. I suspect the next appointment will not be a big name.

Does it need to be either? The media aren't a singular organisation with a stated policy. Each writer and each paper just needs a story with an angle for today. Who cares what tomorrow brings or what yesterday brought.

You must be right - look at all the money QPR made after two seasons of the Premier league.

Tony Pulis on 09:49 - Aug 15 with 2245 views | daveB | This is what FFP will do to a club, they can't afford to spend on both training ground and players so if the club chooses to go for infrastructure then the manager is going to walk away. Wonder who he'll take over and keep up this year, Villa look a good bet
Tony Pulis on 12:17 - Aug 15 with 2156 views | headhoops | Just been in the taxi rank at Kings Cross - Paul Hart was in front of me - swear he said Palarse when the driver asked him where too. Hopefully just grief ahead for them, Parish the ego has landed.
