Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 18:36 - May 13 with 5166 views | GloryHunter | Excuse me for intruding on this shameless begging fest, but where, exactly, were you lot when we were $hit? And where were you all last Friday night when the team was playing the first leg away in Wigan? How come we suddenly have 47,000 loyal supporters, when we stuggle to get 13,000 to Loftus Road? I'm sorry, but someone's got to say it.

Well I for 1 was at Wigan mate. I was also at every Wembley appearance by Rangers, and every home game since I was six months old in 1965 to 1979. I saw marsh, Bowles, Francis, Thomas, wegerle, givens, leach all play in my teams colours. I was there when venables mugged at the match of the day cameras, and when I invaded the pitch against Leeds. Enough for starters?

That's the right answer - well done, mate. Just leaves the other 46,999 begging letters to be explained. Like I said, I'm sorry to be the one asking this question, but someone has to ask it. What's the point us building a new stadium when most of our "supporters" only want to come to the glory games? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

+1. I've had 3 texts today from so called mates who've not been to a game for many years, asking if I can get them the 'extra' ticket I can get as a season ticket holder. The very mates that when I couldn't attend a game due to work I offered them my seat, free of charge. Who they playing then was-always the question. When I reply Barnsley, Doncaster etc on a Tuesday night they didn't want to know. I want the tickets to go to fans who attend but for one reason or another choose not to be members etc.
Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 20:48 - May 13 with 5088 views | NoDiddley | As a ST holder I've had loads of 'supporters' come out of the woodpile for this one. One not been in 5 years, one wants 2 so he can take his Pompey girlfriend & one wants 2 so he can take a mate! Fcuk the lot of them I'd rather get a spare for a fan who has been to 5 games say this year but is not a member but has actually turned up. Saying that I think the system is flawed where I can buy a spare for Uncle Tom who has never been & there is no loyalty system in place for pay on the day supporters.

Such a scheme - creating a 'third tier' of worthy individuals after s/t holders and members - wouldn't be difficult to implement. Anyone who's ever bought tickets on an ad hoc or game by game basis is known to the club; the club also has customers' e-mail addresses and postal addresses.

Gutted that they aren't doing this. Ex season ticket holders in our darkest years and first back up into the championship, but we only made it to 2 games this season (Charlton home and away). Not giving up hope but pretty resigned to not going with the way tickets are being sold.

I was @ Wigan, and Barnsley, and Leicester, Boro, Burnley, Blackpool, Leeds, Leicester & Huddersfield. Don't tar us all as aunt nellys, it just so happens that I live up north and a membership is not worthwhile. If that makes me less of a fan in your eyes then that's your problem.

What do you mean, "a membership is not worthwhile"? It would be worthwhile now you want a Wembley ticket, wouldn't it? There have been times when I've lived away from London and not had a ST. But I always kept the membership going.
Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 21:50 - May 13 with 5013 views | hoopstilidie | Knew some f**king self-proclaimed superfan would pipe up. You've no idea about people's circumstances, whether they have or haven't had STs in the past and how many, whether they've been members in the past or any other number of scenarios. You've no idea of what sort of things keep them from being ST holders or even members come to that. As for them wanting to see their club in a prestigious final at Wembley, well they'd be some sort of idiot if they didn't want to see it wouldn't they? "Somebody had to say it"? Did they, did they really? If you feel that way about it then why don't you stay off a thread that you've only an interest in sneering at and wind your neck in? Sorry, but somebody had to say it. Didn't they?

That's good that you have a membership, I'm pleased for you, but this is a thread designed for people to ask for a helping hand from other rangers fans, if you don't want to or can't then that's fine. I just think its unnecessary and rude that you come on and judge how much of a fan we are. Since my original 'beg' post I actually think that this will go to general sale and so hopefully this thread will be pointless! Last night was amazing and it felt fans, players and owners were together as one. Let's not spoil it!
Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 22:16 - May 13 with 4190 views | IrishR | As Hoopstillidie mentions circumstance dictates many people's abilities to go to games week in week out. It doesnt make us less of a fan then yourself Glory. To you what is a proper fan? I would love to live in London or even England for that matter so that i could get to every game but I travel with work for a living and currently in Germany but having to spend nearly as much on flights as it costs for a season ticket. what we all have is a unique love for QPR and we should not get all billy big boots just because you can get to the majority of games. Are myself, Brooklyn, QPR_Arg, Maceo, or any other fan less of a supported then you? No we all get the butterflies, the nerves, have experienced the highs(few) and the lows(many) despite where we are in the world. Last season I got to 7 games this season unfortunately none but will not bother joining the so called "begging brigade" and if not on general sale will just pay OTT on viagogo. This is a time we all need to join forces and not create divides. No doubt there will be a few more so called "Proper fans" giving it large on the day, cant wait for that. The fans who turned down tickets due to opposition should just jog on though as that is not acceptable. QPR vs anyone and any level would have huge appeal to 99% of us.
Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 22:30 - May 13 with 4164 views | queensparkdanger | I was at the doomed Cardiff final, (the same weekend as my Grandads funeral), don't remember having trouble getting a ticket to that, we must be more poplar nowadays.. Regardless of the comments on here, I am still groveling for a ticket or 2!!, I will even see if I can dig out the shirt from that year and exorcise the play-off ghost...
Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 22:53 - May 13 with 4128 views | SuffolkHoop | I'm not going to get drawn in to personal circumstances such as why we're not ST holders anymore or argue that we are more worthy than any other fan. You're all good people and anyone on here who knows me and my dad will know we are genuine QPR fans. If someone could help us get a pair of tickets we'd be most grateful and there's a drink in it for you. Many thanks in advance for your help. J [Post edited 13 May 2014 22:56]

I can not afford the expense of a Season Tickets and train fares. If I was fortunate enough to have a season ticket I would be absolutely GUTTED if I had to sit next to someone as ignorant as you. [Post edited 14 May 2014 6:48]

I'm begging for a ticket and not ashamed to be doing so. This trip from the desert for the game will be costing me more than £1,000 - can I be your super fan please? Please?
Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 08:46 - May 14 with 3938 views | Lincoln_Hoop | Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere: I'm a member, but what I'm not sure about is can all members buy at the same time, ie. regardless of how many loyalty points they have, or are the on sale dates broken down by number of loyalty points? And as a member, it is just ONE ticket I can buy, yes? Once again, sorry if this has already been discussed, or if it sounds a bit garbled - but I didn't find the official site particularly clear.
