good news

I guess that will be all we will hear on it, other than "He's coming along nicely" in his Friday interviews.

The first we'll know is when he gets named on the bench for a game out of the blue, giving everyone a massive boost in the process.

Great news.

Getting Scotty back could be like a brand new signing, one who can slot straight in just when it gets to the business end!!

Fingers crossed no complications or set backs.

One very important aspect of it not being his cruciate is there's much less chance of a permanent weakness in that area. As we've all learnt from Dalefan PDIDDY's personal experience, once it goes there's a constant risk of it going again despite reconstruction.

The good news is: it's not a season-ending injury. The great news: it's not a potentially career-threatening injury.

just read and thought the same thing

If he was in the knee brace he was in the other day, can't imagine him travelling all that way cramped in a seat. Far from ideal recovery I'd have thought.

This on a day when Hilly says he doesn't like footballers tweeting about football stuff.

But is it "football stuff" - strictly speaking?

On another note, this is how it might have been:

His brother plays for Fleetwood.

Anything else?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Make the most of him!! It's exactly what we are doing. Unlike some debt ridden club not too far away we don't have illusions of once being a world famous club and how dare players move onto bigger and better things. He will move and for lots and lots of money :)

Nope, this is League Two in the 21st century.

He will move for a lot less money than you'd like and you will spend the next couple of years praying that he does the business for wherever he goes because the sell on is where you will make the cash.

Baffling overpriced deals like Dwight Gayle to Palace or Nick Powell to Utd are very rare these days.

We got offered 750k in January and his stock has only risen further since his form after that window, if he comes back and bags 6 goals he'll have 25 for the season in his first pro year, 21 years of age and a lot of potential, we're looking at a million for hogan, so please don't kid yourself.

Leader of the little gang of immature cretins.
