I'm hoping Gaston gets given another chance this season. I think with the greater variety of attackers we have now, he could do better. Especially if we go far in Europe the extra competition would be welcome.

Is there any significance in these numbers at all, for instance JR is 9 while Pelle is 19? Or Bertrand at 21 when you might have expected him to be at 3 (where Yoshida sits) There seems to be no discernible internal logic...any suggestions?

13, 14 and 17 are still available in the top 20! I think Harrison Reed’s move to 18 shows that he will be a more integral part of the squad this year. While Clasie is a superb signing, he lacks a bit of Schneiderlin’s combative playstyle which breaks up opposition attacks before they can become a threat. Reed has this and alongside Wanyama’s composure on the ball, gives us a range of different options for the defensive midfield position.

Exiled - many players have retained their numbers from last season, rather than switch 2 or 3 around at a time, just to accommodate one player getting a top 11 number. There is no real logic to this, other than perhaps some players have favourite numbers they prefer, or superstitious numbers to avoid ? By retaining many of the players' numbers from last season probably means less admin and internal work for Saints - including image rights etc (if we even have contracts that include image rights (Pelle aside)). :-)

Number 7 should have been retired when Matt did.

Mayuka must be on his way out as they haven't even given him a squad number this year.

Squads of the saint team with the name list of the teams are having to and Kelvin is my friend for the first name of the list. That was my old house school friend we used the https://studentwritingservices.com/essays/ once to chatting with the other strangers.

I figure Harrison Reed's turn to 18 demonstrates that he will be a more fundamental piece https://www.topassignmentservice.com/ of the squad this year. While Clasie is an eminent marking, he does not have a touch of Schneiderlin's aggressive playstyle which separates resistance assaults before they can turn into a danger.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Charlton Athletic Polls |
