Struggling With His Name ? Meet Mo Po Or Is It MoPo !
Struggling With His Name ? Meet Mo Po Or Is It MoPo !

Its fair to say that Saints supporters are struggling to pronounce the name of the new Saints manager, well its simple !#

Mauricio Pochettino isnt an easy name to type let alone pronounce and over the last few days Saints supporters have been struggling to work out how to say our new managers name without sounding like a tourist in downtown Malaga.

The answer is quite simple we dont have to pronounce it, we can appreviate it and with the current trend for power nicknames we can make it sound super cool and trendy, therefore just as Susan Boyle is now SuBo, Mauricio Pochettino can now be referred to as MoPo or maybe Mo Po, I havent quite decided what one i like best yet !

This simple abbrevation will save countless hours being wasted by Saiints supporters both in general every day conversation as well as ranting on internet message boards, the only disapointed parties will be those pedants who delight in pointing out spelling mistakes.

But on a serious note MoPo does have that ring to it, all the top celebrities these days (Im sure there are a few more than Susan Boyle)have an abreviation of their name as a nickname, so its an honour for Mauricio to be daubed with this one.

Hi NicIlIo

Not sure SuBo will ever be super cool and trendy, but whatever turns you on. It would seem we've not only got 'Jesus' onboard, the new manager is the 5th TelleTubbie – Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, Po and MoPo?

If its true that people are in fact struggling to pronounce his name its probably because he's new and they havnt got used to it yet.
There are lots of foreign players in our leagues that also have 4 syllable surnames which now roll off the tongue such as Zabaleta Ballotelli, Adebayor and many more.
Suggesting that we abbreviate his name to Mo Po is pretty silly, I am assuming that this was a tongue in cheek post aimed at raising a smile or two. nuff said.

Ok. MoPo, SuBo. Do you think Pete Doherty will join in? Err, perhaps not.

I am not bothering to remember his name at all until he has earnt our respect and justified NC's seemingly daft decision
