Bombay's Newcastle Preview FFS
Bombay's Newcastle Preview FFS

Bompay gets his writing head on this week with his most comprehensive preview to date to welcome the bean stained barcodes to St Mary's for the first time in eight years

Saints welcome the bean stained barcodes to St. Mary's on sunday looking to extend our fantastic unbeaten run FFS. I have a lot of time for the Geordies, and have always enjoyed my trips up to ST JAMES' PARK (not the silly sports direct ffs). We welcome back Alan Pardew, who was fantastic in his time at Saints, and he was the main man in our rise from a double dose of relegation (and administration FFS). The signing of Lambert was the icing on the cake, and I doubt there's a Saints fan out there that doesn't appreciate the work Pardew put in. Things have worked out well for both Pardew and Saints, so we can all look forward to giving the man a good reception.

Newcastle and Saints have had some memorable matches over the years. Who can forget the 2 goals from Matty at the Dell, and the away win under Bally with another great free kick from Le Tissier. As well as other late goals, and high scoring matches. The Saints players are back on the bus, and look ready for the fight ahead. Last weeks win away from home has given the fans and Adkins a massive lift, and some breathing space. The fans have been outstanding this season, and it's our duty to carry on the magnificent backing to the team.

Newcastle had a tough game thursday night, and picked up a couple of knocks. The next two games at home are vital for Saints. A return of 4 points would be very good, and hopefully the confidence will flood back in to the team. I predict a few goals in this one. Hopefully it's another classic, and 3 points for the Saints

Last weeks win did give us some "breathing space" FFS. If we'd have lost we'd be fooked. A win tomorrow = out of the bottom 3 FFS

Nigel is still breathing, Hughes isnt
