"Shock Jock" predicts Leeds are heading back to League One! Wednesday, 3rd Aug 2011 22:07
Motormouth Talksport Presenter Adrian Durham has predicted today that Leeds will be relegated at the end of the forthcoming season, along with Watford and Millwall.
Peterborough fan Durham who presents the teatime drivetime show with Yorkshire cricket legend Darren Gough does have a tendancy to try to be controversial for the sake of it and is generally ridiculed by callers and listeners to the show, who brand him a "Ginger Whinger" - however his message to whites' followers this evening was bleak...you are going back to League One along with Watford and Millwall.
According to Durham, the loss of Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny will weaken Leeds from being unable to compete with the likes of West Ham, Birmingham, Middlesbrough, Leicester and even Saturday's opponents newly promoted Southampton. He criticised Leeds for the sale of Kasper Schmeichel saying it was outrageous he was told he was "not good enough" for Leeds and said he will be "amazed" of Max Gradel is still at Er by the end of the transfer window.
Is he a geniune prophet of doom or a brainless lampoon?

Option "B" for me, i have listened to Durham extensively in the past and he is a Leeds hater. What he knows about football i could write on the back of a stamp and still have room for his memoirs. MOT

A laughable comment about Leeds. You can hate us as much as you wish. This does not wind me up ,he knows he is drawing attention to himself, this post proves it!Any level headed fan can obviously see that this squad is a much stronger squad than last year,Johnson will be a miss ,granted, but he was greedy!West Ham will probably go up,they did say that about Boro last season however!!The rest of the division, well, there are about 12 teams fighting it out for 5 other places I think. As for Peterbrough, lets just say along with Watford and Millwall?????? strange choices.........bye bye!Dont pretend not to love it Adrian!

I'm proud to say I've never listened to his show, but if he's a Peterborough fan he ought to be a lot more worried about his own team. They haven't improved the squad that brought them back up, and in fact they've already sold their best player. They've also got that clown Fergie Junior back in charge after sacking hin two years ago! Certainties for relegation in my book.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Charlton Athletic Polls |
