Brian Johnson was never gonna replace Bon Scott on top of that Johnson's voice has pretty much gone anyway. Everyone talks about Angus and rightly so but I was a huge fan Of Malcolm his brother, those rasping chords that he used to blast out are out and out Rock and Roll history. I've got a Chinese made Gretsch 6131 and a Marshall DSL20 a Boss Angry Driver pedal and a Boss DS1 pedal and I know I should really grow up but I just love playing the Intro to ''Downpaymet Blues'' It's a few years since I saw them at Wembley and they were 'On It that night' The Argentine (River Plate gig) Is the best On Youtube Dont miss out on the chance to see the legend that Is Angus Young live. |

Going from one end of the Country to virtually the other end of the Country In such a short space of time and then putting In the perfect shift??? I'm almost but not quite ashamed of meself for thinking a couple of hours ago we've got no chance tonight. Outstanding result. |

Saw him live a few Years ago, no big deal really but he never a spoke a word all night apart from goodbye when he finished the gig.. Like him or not he's a lyrical genius, ''Like a Rolling Stone'' has some of the best lines to a song ever written, Its a classic song esily In the top ten In the world. |

I loved our promotions to the Prem, I couldn't believe I was driving to Goodison Park for our first away game after promotion and even better on the way home by the time I got back onto the M6 Moyes was still waffling on about Everton's 'bad luck' during the game (bollox Moyes and thanks Tommy Smith for the winner). But It turned sour for me the whole experience , I was at the Etihad when we survived by the skin of our teeth and listening to Mark bloody Hughes on the radio talking about QPR not being In that situation next season (just piss off) The kick off times, the expense of It all, Its all part and parcel of It, the one thing that I really noticed was fans who were always sat around me within nodding distance had disappeared once we were In the Prem. I didn't like It, I didn't like the razzamatazz, the fanfares the TV cameras, I've got no Interest In footballers who are considered as being 'superstars' or whatever. I understand our clubs financial situation and I understand what financial stability promotion to the Prem could bring. I don't know the answer If we went up. When we won the play off final my Journey home from WHL after Spurs used us as a training game during our first away game and kick our arses was murder, that whole season was pretty much murder. I forgot half of what I was gonna say.!!!!!! you'll get the gist. |
