The game plan worked a treat!
3-0 down after 41 minutes and not a shot on goal from the starting forwards for the 58 minutes they were on.
Only when the subs came on after 58 minutes did we pose any kind of threat.
Sulemana, Onuachu and Manning came on, 2 minutes later we scored.
Juric has time on his side before the fans start on him but for the love of god play your best players and don’t play players out of position.
A Left footed player at Left Wing Back and a Centre Back at Centre Back. Bree is a Right Back. |

Yesterday he played a Right Back at Left Back (KWP), a Right Back at Centre Back (Bree) whilst Wood and Bella-Kotchap sat on the bench, dropped Ugochukwu for Downes who himself seemed to be on a mission to be sent off. Ugochukwu replaced Downes at half time.
Sulemana was dropped, apparently tired?
The most ineffective front two of Armstrong and Archer started who both mustered zero shots between them for the 58 minutes they were on the pitch.
I’m no great fan of Onuachu but he is the best we have as a target man and he needs to start up front at least to be a ‘menace’.
I can’t see where Juric is going to get us a point from.
Another odd managerial appointment from Sport Republic.

Our subs improved the team.
Onuachu did more than Archer and Armstrong did put together.

I’d be more concerned why our manager continues to play our best Right Back/Right Wing Back out of position and the mistake riddled Sugawara in his place! [Post edited 19 Jan 13:49]

Time will tell on Juric.
With Forest, Newcastle, Ipswich, Bournemouth, Brighton, Chelsea and Liverpool coming up.
That’ll be 12 PL games into his reign.

If we go out and buy players in this window that Juric wants and he does one at the end of the season we maybe stuck with players the new manager doesn’t want.

You can be the best player in the world but when you’re attitude stinks and you couldn’t give a flying fúck you’re no good to anyone.
Sulemana showed his true colours early on at Leeds when he didn’t bother chasing a JWP pass and Selles went ape shit at him.
Hopefully he grows up fast, knuckles down and proves to himself and us all that there’s a player in there or will he go through the motions and draw his £40k a week until his contract runs out or is sold. |
