Sure your typing was meant say Edwards

Yes he is a very good player - others didn't want him here.

We got Cook, Morrison still out injured and JCS fragile and Dunne at right back, was a very much needed loan and great work too.

Big shout out to the fans who have done the Hull and back trip.

Seemed only a few hardy souls up there, but fantastic for those there.

You all must be completely crazy but definitely I hope a very happy crazy...

The players attacking your end in second half would have got a massive lift.

Heady days indeed..

Fox's performances have gone under the radar since his return.

With both Cook and Morrison both injured at same time after a successful period, and JCS very fragile, we were worried, but first with Dunne and now Edwards, Fox has done incredibly well.

Many of us felt Morgan was an emergency option but he has done so well, you could even believe he has been Cook with his "Fox" disguise on.

Clearly the two changes with Lloyd and Saito changed the game today.

Last Saturday, Kolli coming on made the difference.

The guy knows his stuff..

It's a dreadful pitch and is really bad in both penalty areas also.

Not acceptable to be honest for a championship game in these times.

They share the ground with Hull KR, the rugby league team.

Even so !!!!

Over to you sir.

I think it will be 1 - 1, but outside chance of another away win.

Absolutely

They are abysmal

He is right to say it and agree as professionals they have to perform better. He knows he has many lame ducks.

Strangely, if it was me as a player and I would myself be well aware we were playing dreadfully, but this new smart Alec coming in and saying we are the worst ever, for me, I would react by saying, fk you, worst ever, no chance and would get others who would think the same and just up their game to stick two fingers up at the new boss.

Backhanded motivation techniques.

If the players got anything about them as supposed top professionals that SHOULD be the way they react to that.

I doubt they will though and he probably knows that because most of them could not care less.

It's the players that are dreadful.

I can understand why he has said it. It's almost like he knows most of them are wasters.

Amad, Fernandes, Mainoo and Garnacho would be the only ones standing for me.

The rest are an embarrassment and counting their fortunes.

Reminds me of our premier league squad last time around.

The manager did very well in his last job. It's not on him.

(Feasible) players you most wished had/hadn't played for QPR
at 00:19 20 Jan 2025

Wanted to Play for us but didn't.

1.Jermain Defoe

Who was linked with us a few times. Fantastic goalscorer and all round decent man after the great affection he had with the young Sunderland boy who passed away at the age of six. A more heart warming story rarely seen in pro football.

2.Tony Adams

One that might cause some to say why and remember being at game not long after he was released from prison after a drink driving offence and all Rangers fans taunted him to the extreme. But turned his life around and his clinic Sporting Chance has helped many professional sports people with all sorts of addiction issues. But as player, it was all that counted his team winning and he was so strong to show as a leader. The phrase would be he would die for the team.

3. Michael Carrick

An amazingly underrated player. Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard all have said he would have been their preferred centre midfield partner of choice for England. Would make other players shine. Shown his knowledge of the game too in a very decent managerial career. Would be happy if he was in charge here.

Players wish hadn't.

1. Joey Barton

An unbelievably self important man and his powers of delusion at how good he was and how bad everyone else was, have always been in the extreme. It's always someone else who is the d*ck. Never ever his fault though. He thought he was top level. He was bang average and a dreadful man to have as a team mate. His offensive words, behaviours and physical actions were a total liability but some of what he has done is simply criminal.Anyone that stubs a cigar in a teenagers eye is a dangerous man. He took it upon himself to say Taraabt was a d*ck and disrespecting the club by being late for training. Yes he had a dreadful upbringing. Many do but they don't all become like Barton.

2. Andre Dozzell.

Possibly the most ineffective midfielder I have ever witnessed. I don't think he got any enjoyment at all about playing football. Always looked like he wished he could be anywhere but where he was, but seemed to get picked so many times and by different managers. I think he could be one of these players that is great in training otherwise there is no explanation as to why this man has a football career. Maybe his dad has evil connections that can be contacted if Andre is not selected.

3. Todd Kane

Bloke was bang average but thought he was better than Ossie Kakay. Sadly Ossie was actually better than him, but he seemed to believe he was at Roberto Carlos apprentice levels where in reality he wasn't fit to even lace Karl Readys boots. The bloke was what is commonly known a total plank. Oh how we missed him.

Racist Incident At Plymouth?
at 23:43 19 Jan 2025

For it to be highlighted in a BBC article, either means it was extremely offensive or aggressive, or it was a very slow news day.

Am wondering what a racist incident actually is that would have required such focus.

Most be much more than name calling, so glad it's been dealt with by the authorities.

No other team in the Championship...
at 23:20 19 Jan 2025

The reason for our upturn is :

1.Three young players all blossoming - Kolli, Lloyd and Morgan.

2.The return of our talisman ie Ilias Chair.

3.Morrison and Varane adapting to our league and knowing their strengths.

4.Our main man Michi returning and hitting the ground running.

5.Our key long term players all contributing big time. Dunne, Field and Smyth.

6. And perhaps the key element which sometimes is underrated is Nardi, who is an extremely decent keeper.

Snooker and darts you can play better when you have had several drinks. In fact sometimes you seem to have greater skills which is weird.

Golf is an actual sport as opposed to a game which I say the other two are.

Snooker, Golf or Darts
at 22:26 19 Jan 2025

Only played darts as a kid in my parents garage.Never had a 180 got 160 once.

Snooker was into as teen and played until about 30. Top break 37 and won a competition at local club when I was around 19 but was the plate competition ie first round losers, then played three rounds to win. Could get the angles but no control. Could beat my mates but when started working my concentration levels wavered particularly when young women walked by and after about two frames of total mediocrity started smashing the balls around attempting to get total flukes.

Golf i hit it straight. I became good at chipping and putting and scored around late 80s on par 72s but again, my interest waned and my focus seemed to be elsewhere and I wasn't the type to be a member of the middle class golf set. So after a few years playing again my visits became less and less.

But I tried most sports playing but it's not happening now. I just go along and watch young men kicking a ball around in a rickety old stadium and think what happened and what went wrong with all my sporting endeavours.

I had promise and now I think where did it all go wrong !!

Sadly no "Big" clubs going down.

Everton will improve but been poor for few seasons now.

Man Utd and Spurs have been abysmal for all their resources.

I think the loss of Kane has impacted Spurs massively. Surely Son will realise what's the point of staying on there himself also !!

If a miracle happened and we went up via the playoffs
at 11:52 19 Jan 2025

Great point Dave.

Can see that absolutely.

I would just be wary it could all be destroyed by going up too early, replacing our own exciting talent by bringing in premier league players who some would just be here for the money like previously and it could then destroy our future seasons.

Am just enjoying where we are currently.

But like others have said hope that we don't do what Southampton have done and can achieve a la Brentford or Brighton.etc

Yes and agree younger fans won't have the memories of the charlatans that came here in our last two very challenging attempts at the prem. Probably my thoughts affected by the past but yes I think we are a different club altogether now, i would hope.

Play off Final Alfie Last minute winner !!!

If that happened I do believe Alfie himself would self combust !!!

But no harm dreaming !!!

He is our Barbet, Hill, Gillard, Wilson of this particular era of players.

Mr consistent, very rarely less than a 7 out of 10, but a players player, does his job with the minimum of fuss and on occasions his own structured element of flair.

He is getting more and more chances also and that's from his learnt understanding of the game.

A player who is consistent but at the same time always learning and nearly always available as well.

First on the team sheet not necessarily because he is the game changer but because you know he will do what he is asked to do.

Adaptable too. Was very good when played centre half one game this year.

Any managers dream man.

And an all round decent man as well and of stable personality also. You know he won't go off the rails like so many we have had in recent histories.

Ferguson had so many talents in his Manchester Utd squads through the years but when pushed to name a crucial player in his reign and other players also would have chosen, the name Dennis Irwin came up. In our particular circumstances, Sam is that man. All about the team.

Definitely a forever R in the mould of a Derry and a Hill.

Very grateful Sam will have the bulk of his career in W12.

Top man.

Want us to be winning most weeks and playing as we are.

It would be way too early to go up but yes appreciate there are the Bournemouths around.

Was only a question to see what people thought ??

Am extremely happy with what's happening at moment and don't want it to change.

Only put this up for debate...
