I don't think so. I think it is a prelude to the fact that we've suffered injuries to Cook, JCS and Morrison twice and we know Jimmy is doing well at right back. I agree we absolutely have to get Jimmy on a new contract asap.
Promoting the juniors (who 'weren't ready') from the development team to the first team because we had no choice (and finding out that they were ready) and the coach and senior team putting their arm around them. Then the bond that created between the squad and the fans.
Amazing how adversity can throw up an unlikely solution!
Good shout. Just needs a few more goals to really start looking like him but my god he is a vastly improved player these days. At 27 he is a fantastic example to the younger players whilst still be very young himself.
I like that he obviously keeps reminding the team that they can't perform like they did at Swansea and that they have to keep concentrated. Having Chair, JCS, Frey and Colback back really helps.
Rode our luck a little bit today but 3 excellent goals. Our number 9 Dunne on fire again and making a crucial deflection to prevent it being 3-2. Smyth now regularly with an end result to his runs. He's on fire. We even score the 3rd goal twice in this highlights package.
This is the Glazers hideous touch coming home to roost under the odious Jim 'Rat'cliffe and his scummy company. What they have done to their staff and their charities is disgusting. An absolute embarrassment of a club now.
In all the interviews I have seen with him he seems to be 'far too nice' to succeed as a football manager. He's apparently a very quiet person which doesn't lend itself to this job. I thought he may have found a good place at Plymouth but it seems he just doesn't have the skills or the bigger personality to be a football manager. One of my best friends will be gutted as he is a Stoke fan and they're at Plymouth tomorrow. He'll be even more gutted if Stoke appoint Rooney in the aftermath, which I wouldn't put beyond them.
