Let's look at the evidence;
1). QPR survive. QPR rekindle hopes of thriving. QPR gone downhill since midsummer.
2). Trump languishing in the polls. Bazza 'disappears' midsummer. Trump wins in November!
3). Russia bogged down in Ukraine. North Korean troops arrive. Russia regaining the initiative.
Coincidence? I think not! |

Definitely go to Guernica, the museum is brilliant and you'll leave thinking: Franco was a bastard and thank God he stayed out of WW2. The only time a Picasso ever truly made sense!
The Guggenheim, well each to their own. Maybe caught it on a bad day, but a lot of modern stuff that really was rubbish.
Some cracking bars/restos but I'll be jiggered if I can remember much else. San Sebastian, if you have the time, is well worth a peruse lot of night life gong on. |

Generally, I find QPR are pretty good on these sorts of things. In fact, if we all agreed to drop the football and just focus on the CSR stuff, life would be more enjoyable.
I think if you approach the club and make a specific request, they might be amenable. Failing that, I'd get down there for 12pm.

I'd also make cyclists pay towards road tax, and the full force of the fine culture heaped upon them if they stray out of lane, don't wear crash hats, and when they jump the lights. Slightly more controversial: fined for looking a prat in lycra.
And those freewheeling on scooters would also pay a whack for similar infringements. Tripled if they don't have an actual licence.
I don't have a problem with cyclists (scooterists) who appreciate that they share the road, not own it! Applies to walkways along canals, too! Last year along the Grand Union, I had the pleasure of putting a fast peddling cyclist in the drink by Horsenden Hill...only way these ctuns will learn: slow down and use your brakes! |

Well, the reality is: when we have done it that way, and done it professionally and competently, we've arguably enjoyed our more successful times and, more particularly, our less embarrassing periods.
Simple fact is: we've been run and have employed too many crooks, clowns and charlatans for decades now, and the culture of incompetence is deeply ingrained as a result. It's hard to see a positive way forward with the current circus in charge and as I have repeatedly said, in the absence of a competent sugar daddy walking through the door, then it'll likely have to be killed before it can be reborn again. |

I bet they've gone as teams maybe prefer to reach Nirvana through keeping it tight at the back and being defensively rock solid as opposed to playing expansive entertaining football to reach the Premier$hip.

2014 I was talking to a bloke about it, and he really had got in early and so off I went and did a lot of research before dipping a couple of toes in.
I get the sense behind it, but like social media, it's destined to be fraught with difficulties, especially if governments/central banks increase the push-back.
Given volatility in the ecosystem, I applied the old adage that you should only gamble what you can afford to lose before going in. Equally, you do need to really keep on top of it, and I just did not have the time. Exited and comparatively, yeah, no complaints on what I made. But while I like my ice cream to be a really good vanilla, with an occasional dabble with salted caramel, this is maybe a little too too tutti fruitti for me.
If you go in: get a special memory stick, protonmail email account, a solid authenticator, and really do your research on which trading platform you are going to use...hence, get a memory stick and remember: if you don't hold it, you don't own it! |

George Best's last game was actually my first on 1 January 1974.
I'm not sure Rodney played, as I think he was plying his trade up at Maine Road by then. However, Stan certainly did and bagged a brace if memory serves in a 3-0 win.

We're all agreed that new owners, preferably more interested and more savvy then the lot we've had since 2011, are required. However, unless the comms stratergy is so good at keeping the impending arrival of savious quiet, then there's no one.
Richard Reilly came in, not sure what his plan was, but I did hear he and his son were raking through everything, which I took to mean they were doing a thorough due diligence. Then a year ago it was reported we'd engaged a US based mob (Montminy & Co) to bring in more finance (and we do seem to have lots more 'corporate partners').
However, for my money, this was about really looking to sell. But given all that we know, suspect, and don't know, we're not an attractive proposition. Seriously, who'd buy it?
Alas, as I've said more than once, I fear it dies before it can be reborn. As others have said: the incompetence looks more a case of managed decline and in the absence of a miracle walking in the door, we're screwed. Not just on the money issue, but really screwed by the fact we've got no one running the show with the business and football smarts. And that's the real problem we've been facing since August 2011. As a club, QPR has been run into the ground by incompetence and we don't have anywhere near enough nous to plan and manage our way out of it like other clubs have. |

Bigger question I suggest: who will guide us in the January TW?
To be fair, he and his algorithm had a good TW last January. However, he and the algorithm have, thus far, had a total shocker during the summer and if there is some cash/wriggle room in the finances, do we trust his suggestions?
We've got a big TW coming up fast and someone has to make a big call PDQ as to whether we trust Kim Jung or not in January. Because if we're all here apoplectic with rage after another mindless TW, it will be more than Christian we'll be throwing to the lions when we go to Millwall on 1 February, it'll be the whole lot of them! |
