I remember in the home leg he got wolf-whistled due to his flowing locks. A few weeks later he was a QPR player, and a damned fine one at that.

They changed the name from the "European Cup" to the "Champions League". All they now need to do is re-brand it by merging the two names and you get the "European League".

OK, if they are playing the second team and are at home, then have severely reduced tickets prices. Give the fans the option to go along or not.

If lower leagues attendances are slowly rising due to people being out priced in the PL (and even the Championship) what's the odds on those clubs putting up ticket prices, because greed always comes first?

One of my sons youth team mates and his mum regularly watch Chelsea ladies, have been doing so long before the lionesses came along and made ladies football what it is today.

They could easily get tickets, prices were reasonable etc but now prices are going up and they are being squeezed out as trying to get family tickets together is near on impossible at Kingsmeadow. This has all happened in just 2-3 years.

They do sometimes play at Stamford Bridge but that is not part of the normal season ticket and is a separate 'deal' altogether.

Fans just get fleeced.

I live in Brentford 'territory' and a lot of the kids & parents in my sons youth team are all ST holders or regular goers but they too are now showing signs of PL fatigue. Whereas they had gone to all the big away games too they just don't anymore.
"Been there, done that, got the tshirt.... and a few hundred quid worse off each time" especially now as they're coming away with a defeat whereas before they actually got something out of the game.

Non-QPR Sonos speakers Clusterduck!

I think this could be Sonos' 'Ratners moment'.

What a mess. App worked perfectly fine but they decided to do an overhaul in the spring rendering it useless. If I can get mine to work (I have a pair of Sonos One Gen 2's) it's usually not long before it just stops, usually after about half a dozen songs. Cannot get it to link up to Alexa or Apple Music (the whole fkin' point of them) despite the app telling me it's all linked.

There are no 3mm/red & white phono inputs so no ability to at least rig them up in the good ol' way.

I believe Sones can't/won't revert back to the previous version and they "understand and are sorry for the issues caused" and are "working" on stepping-stone updates regularly.

I'm not an app techie person but I don't understand why they just can't roll it back?

They better do something quick or it'll take them down and I, and everyone else, will have lumps of plastic that are useless.

I get the notion of that but I do think clubs should make this clear and price tickets accordingly.

Did Brentford do this, I know we haven't!

I just think it's only fair on the fans in terms of expectations and cost. Nothing worse than getting a decent crowd, paying a decent wedge, then your U18's trot out onto the pitch.

I also understand clubs don't want fans not to turn up but can't have it both ways, got to be open & transparent IMO or you just pi$$ off your fanbase.

And how is any DoF, past or present, responsible for a players behaviour when they left the club 6 years ago.

Another Shabazz Baidoo. More interested in playing at being a ganstarrrrr rather than just earning even more money by being a footballer.

This has always been the dilemma of cup games. Even though players can get injured in any game (or on the training ground or at home etc) it is always a cup injury that gets lambasted the most.

"if he didn't play in that game he wouldn't have got injured and now out for xxxx weeks/months".

OK, but players can and do get injured in League games too.

£5m by all accounts but how long will that last? Maybe long enough to get a buyer in.

It's a bit like being awash with football stats.... XG this, blocked shots that, % possession the other and so on.

In the end, there's only one stat that counts.... the FT score.

Everything else just fills up MoTD/media/SM space which is what actually dominates things.
