The Dell

When the Dell closed the Grauniad had an article "top games at the Dell". I was at 2, Saints 9 Wolves 3
and also a cup game in the early 60s Saints 3 Forest 3. Paine and Sydenham played and Kirby laid out the Forest keeper, Grummet about 3 times. First were Div 1 at the time and were leading 1-3 at one stage. No penalties then, Saints won the second replay at "neutral" WHL 5-1

So who saw them at the Top Rank around the time that My Generation was first released as a single. Who was centre forward for Saints then ( George Kirby ???)
