Laudrup team selection. We weren't playing Chelsea. or Ciddeh, Or Yernahted. Or Arsenal. Hell we werent even playing Norwich. So damn negative.
Michu up front. It never works. Ever.
Bony not starting. Why?
FSGJonjo. Yeah, not getting it.
Dyer and Routledge. Haven't been in form since Gary Jones was the oppo.
Amat ... Chico has no justification to be a starter now.
De Guzman. Shithouse. Utterly irrelevant to the game.
Huw J obviously saw this coming, and fair play to him for that. I've shared my thoughts about the malaise that is surrounding the club at the moment and by god did it come home to roost today. Utterly shithouse performance, especially in the second half.

We lost to one of the most limited teams in this league in recent memory today. Even worse from a regulation setpiece and then completely fell apart. Inexcusable. |

Yeah, I think that's what shocked me T2C. At 0-0 at HT I was utterly convinced it was just a matter of tim down their RHS before we cut through. Then we came out like a bunch of pussies for the entire second half. It hurt. We are still better than them though. There is no doubt in my mind, but I am in a bit of pain here. |

It was the easiest half we've had the first, they were deathly quiet, makes it all the more galling what happened in the second but that's the game innit, they took a lot from our feeling of stable-ness and they got lucky when it mattered.

Wing play continues to be a huge problem. Dyer and Routs have contributed next to nothing all season.
I agree, Michu is not a forward and really annoying he continues to play there when we have two proper ones on the bench.

Oh of course we will. That's not my point at all. I'm just annoyed about the manner of our performance and selection today ... and believe me when I say I'd be the same if we played Port Vale instead of another hoofball outfit.
I've been saying for a while that some things aint right. Was kind of hoping today would rebalance all that but a combination of a shithouse selection from Laudrup and an even more shithouse performance from the XI selected put that idea to bed.

Just for the record I was also yet again bored shitless with our one dimensional performance. I don't really care if people don't like my opinion but it's bizarre, bizarre that I feel such apathy even in the biggest derby we've ever seen.
I'm seriously considering my sanity if I have to sit through that shite again against Stoke next week.
