"Bitter Fulham management leak offensive rumour suggesting a move for QPR hero with intention of deflecting attention away from humiliating defeat and hoping to talk about absolutely anything else."
It would be very surprising, and disappointing, if Redknapp hasn't learnt from Hughes mistakes and tries to ship out Mackie, Hill et al and replace them with 'Premiership players'...
And if he did go why would we sell him for a paltry £3m? He's got a long term contract, has a season and a half's prem experience and is a Scottish International?

You would hope that after even Hughes started palying him that Redknapp would realise that players like Mackie are the only reason we have 10 points. If we go down players like him will be essential to get us back up too.
3 million is a decent price. We'd struggle to get more than that if we go down and after a year in the championship even more so. Still, he is more valuable to us than that, and would be crucial to our plans to go back up if we get relegated.
I'd like to think he's too loyal to ask for a transfer too..
If we go down and Palace go up could see Ian Holloway bidding for him. He plays a bit like a clone of Holloway and Ainsworth, not the most gifted but a grafter and likely to be a legend in the future.
I won't even give it a month after his departure before one of his critics is forced to admit we miss him. As Ian Holloway once said, you need somebody to carry the piano onto the stage before the pianist can play. Every team needs a couple of Jamie Mackies. No coincidence that it's him linked with Everton, then Blackburn and now Fulham and none of the others. Speaking to Villa fans on Twitter last week after writing the match preview and they were all saying they thought Mackie was our best player. The other clubs can see it, but we take him for granted.
