How many starts? Hardly any. He was just what Swansea needed. Movement energy and drive. He does not fit the Martin Williams style which has seen off other prospects like Whittaker and Joseph. Static Grimes to static Fulton to static Darling.

Not many starts but counting sub appearances 13 games. Still can't deny he got off to a dynamite start for Orient.

0-4 after 34 minutes and Abdulai has been quiet since his goals. I think the big picture is that Exeter have no central defenders available so they are wide open.

His two goals were as a result of incredibly poor defending.
But you have to be there to put them away.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Did he ever play for us in his preferred position?
What do you think is his preferred position. I've seen him play central defence, left back, wide left, wide right and DM. We played him several times wide left in the first team, where apparently he is playing tonight, I'm not watching.

It's obviously far too early to conclude that letting AA go was definitely a mistake, but it's a handy reminder that we probably shouldn't be judging the performances of the vast majority of the players who have come under the skilful instruction of Luke Williams.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I think I saw him play in a LC tie v Northampton last season. The two athletic running players of Box to box Abdullai and sprinter centre back Wood dovetailed beautifully and weird too much for Northampton.
I saw him in a lot of big wins for the u21 v Crewe Hull Barnsley and he was a standout. Also a 9-1 v Birmingham. This was two years back.
Bad teams let good players go cheaply. I blame Williams who spends his time gushing over has been veterans and ignoring the young talent that needs encouragement. This is for self preservation.

Remember what position he played in the Birmingham game, it should be easy.

I don't see what the problem is.
If he had scored a hat trick against brum or wycombe I'd be a bit peeved but it's exeter ffs.
He is a real good player who was not given his chance because of static overpaid player like Grimes Fulton and Allen blocking his path.
He has movement like De Guzman had when Swansea had a winning and exciting style of football. That is the problem. Good players do not fit into a bad style of play. Abdullai Joseph Whittaker Lowe all dispatched.

Ok I'll give you a clue. It was not box to box but central defence and no he didn't score and it was 10-1 not 9-1. Plus yes I was there.
He may not have scored but he was all over the pitch and had the Birmingham team in a daze. They could not handle Swansea's movement. I found the report. Rushesha and Lissah were centre backs and Leveritt and Joe Thomas full backs Abdullai was replaced by Mitchel Bates who is DMF.
10-1 results are usually dished out by the Premier league giants.
It has been said for a while the bigger clubs were looking at him. We got nothing coming through apart from him. We then sell him on the cheap. Same guy that is now at Ipswich. How can we build when we keep selling our talent. We are not acting like a championship club. Fire sale at the swans every transfer window. Then we bring in players without the talent and hope their long term injuries clear up.
