If he isn't sacked this weekend then we know for certain he will stay the distance. The appalling stats for this game should at least have convinced SR that Martin has to go. But I beg the question yet again - why has there been little or no fan protest?

'why has there been little or no fan protest?'

Because to the fans watching games is like spending a night at Dracula's Castle, they are drained.

If RM is in charge on Monday, they can have my season ticket back.
No shots on or off target, but of course more possession. If this idiot comes out and tries to but a positive spin on the game!!!

This is the most boring, negative football I have seen in over 50 years of watching Saints. I will except going down, but at least try to play football, not what we are watching now

As I’ve said before / I will NOT be renewing if this fool remains in charge.

Because there’s no point.

The Owners, Board and Senior Management couldn’t give a monkeys what the fans think or do.

No club in Premiership history has recovered to maintain it’s status from our current position.

It’s over. Two Premiership relegations in three seasons.

We march on to The Championship.

Protest is futile and Sports Republic know it to be so.

Poll: Who is responsible for our current pathetic points total ?

Because we're not a northern club quite obviously, they would be going apeshit at this, from what I can gather people are more concerned about getting the train home, we deserve it in many ways as I can't think top level a more apathetic fan base, its always been that way.

Can you imagine Martin walking to his dugout at the Dell.

Just listened to his after match interview with Mr Blackmore, now starting to blame the supporters but everything else is rosey. he is proud of the players and they showed good spirit. I give up.

Go to BBC sounds and listen, he complained that the supporters cheered when lumley booted it long and we lost the ball and they scored. Blokes a complete bell end.

How ironic, quite a few times when Lumley kicked it long we won the second ball, and when we didn't get it, the ball was miles from our goal. Better to lose it upfield than in our own penalty area.

He is an utter duck.

I'm no expert on how FFP works but if the financial assessment is based on 2 calendar years, maybe the owners can't afford to sack him before January. I'm sure Martin would love to bale out now and avoid our relegation, but if he resigns, he loses millions.
