Lets be fair they're a complete non entity, the club just play them lip service and let them have a few soft seats a blanket and a vol au vent to keep up the pretence that they are important, the Fans couldn't careless about them after what they did in destroying all the good work the previous Board had done. A complete non entity to most apart from the one who's obsessed and another complete non entity.

The previous board presented them with a strategy that would have destroyed Swansea city You favour legal action and a best case of giving huge money from the convertible loan note to faceless people in South East England with no interest in football. Many members think like you and that is why they are not to be trusted with power. [Post edited 1 Dec 15:25]

I'm not either they completely turned their backs on the fans, for the comfy seats, they've destroyed everything that the Trust were in existence for. Shameful and should be disbanded, nobody actually knows what they do anymore, the real Trust were gradually ousted by this lot, its a disgrace, for all the real fans, The one on here who keeps harping on, is clueless about the subject like most things despite being told the truth and with the evidence to back it up numerous times, but with his attention seeking and trolling will never accept anything.

My perception is far closer to the truth than yours. I called their strategy poor 8 years ago and have been proven correct. Hard cash give them clout and when buyers were circling in 20115 they decided they did not want the money on offer and did not ask the member their view. The members did not demand a vote. Truth be told they probably never given it a thought. They wanted "protection" at a level of 25% with the influence the 25% gave them. They have settled for 5% and a place on the board.

Please get your facts right..... In 2015 the Trust were not happy to sell to the John Moores consortium after doing some due diligence. As a result the other shareholders then omitted the majority shareholder ie the Trust from further sales discussions before it was too late. Phil Sumbler is on record to say that there were open to negotiations at that time but was not contacted and you seem to forget that Jason himself made the admission that Huw et al had told them to disregard and ignore the Trust. Please let it rest the Trust as it was is dead it's a supportes club now created by those that followed the board that had the true ideals of the Trust .....we are now entering a new phase of ownership let's stop bringing up events of 8 years ago stop looking back and let's look forwards

The Trust board member emphatically stated their position. Their share were not up for sale adding for the record " they never would be" . No one in the Trust contradicted this in February 2015. Levien and co were in Swansea a few months later looking at the club and no doubt were made aware of this. As I understand it they needed a mandate from the members to sell and had made no moves to get this mandate.

In the 23 years of the Trust 2015-2016 were the most important. At that time they needed to act. They wanted to carry on as before but that was not an option. The fall of the Trust from being respected to today's of being less relevant are defined by this two year period. They won the pools but did not submit their ticket.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the Trust argument ( and I do not claim to have any deep knowledge or opinion on the subject ) what happened in the past cannot number reversed. Just as the decision by the then owners to sell cannot be reversed. Both are past events in the club's history and it serves no purpose to rehash the discussions of "If this happened and that happened" We can only hope that the current ( and future ) owners do not make the same error and pass the club on to highly unsuitable owners

Levien and co were good owners who failed. They are such good owners and people they have bitten the bullet and handed the club over to their associates to see if they can do better. They could have handed the club over to the Trust but that would have guaranteed administration. It is my opinion all the mistakes were made by the Trust board who were not cross examined by the freewheeling members. The board member stated the shares would never be sold. Not one of the 1000 + members said anything. Democracies only actually work if people care about what they are voting for. Fans are never wrong in their minds. It is clear that if you do not accept mistakes you can never learn from them. It is always someone else's fault in the eyes of losers. Levien has not blamed anyone else.

" Levien and co were good owners who failed " Surely that is an oxymoron ? If they failed ( which you admit yourself by that statement) then they were bad for the club. Good owners succeed and grow the club. Take it to the Next Level if you will. Had they done that, then the club would have attained a top four EPL position maybe and an increase in capacity of the stadium to accommodate the extra crowd that would naturally follow. Instead we have a team that is treading water one division below where they were when they took over and apathy which led to failure to sell out a game against Leeds and approx 5k empty seats ( although it looked like more empty seats than that ) on Saturday Hardly good owners. What have they actually achieved to warrant your calling them good owners ?

Yep,as I see it Their biggest legacy is the current disconnect from the club evidence by the fact 25% of our home fan base have walked away and ain’t coming back any time soon. The damage caused is massive The employment of coaches that have killed the team as a spectacle with absent owners who truly couldn’t give a monkeys . What most fans want is a return to reality and see a team that plays with the abilities of the players it has and doesn’t give chances for oppositions to win games

Many people including Trust members and supporters envisaged total disaster when the club got relegated. Falling down the league and shutting the academy. Some predicted that the owners would asset strip and put the club into administration. Instead they stabilised the club and gave Cooper the tools get into the play off twice. Unfortunately The Danish guy at Brentford club with no parachutes was better than Cooper with the who who's of top English talent. Guehi, Brewster, Gallagher, Gibbs White plus Gyorkeres. Failure is the norm for football. Success is the exception. Only 12.5% can be promoted. Levien and co have written off £69m and handed the club over to good people who have £20m to invest. They did not sell for £20m with no money to spend. It is not easy and Levien has accepted he is not able to do what is needed. Coleman has persuaded him to hand over the reigns. The "good riddance" posts from fans is inappropriate. The fans group have turned themselves fro big players into irrelevance. In the Toshack era Swansea could not even sellout the Vetch for some first division games. 14,000. If Levien has a bad senses of humour and a vindictive streak he would have handed over the club to the Trust.

“ Parachute Money “ For relegated Premier league clubs. You’ve omitted that. It helps clubs consolidate in the lower division and many are therefore equipped to go straight back up. We weren’t and still aren’t. They were hopeless of that there is no doubt.
