Not seeing many reports of the football league clubs playing friendlies, Welsh league teams seem to be playing lots, Caernarfon went out to Ireland in preparation for their European comp and beat Cilftonville 2-1 out there.
Bangor City beat Utd FC of Manchester 4-2 and then went over the border to beat City of Liverpool 2-0.
Even TNS women went over the border and drew with Utd FC.
Carmarthen Town drew with the Ferry the other day.
Premier league teams and even football league teams go abroad these days or play behind closed doors (what's that all about), premadonnas afraid of getting turned over, I can remember top division teams coming down and playing Merthyr on a regular basis in the 70s, shame those type of fixtures are gone now. |  |
