Stroud the man with the whistle at the Swansea v Stoke game.
What a time to be alive
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Bookies have us 16/1 to go down now and they would have done the numbers.
I had what you might call a consolation bet on us last season at about 40-1 when it was obvious we had been tanking for a while. The bookies know sh1t except for where the money is going. I didn’t win, and i was delighted i didn’t (my reasoning was if get a free season ticket if we went down!) but we only didn’t go down because of freak results and points deductions. Don’t put a lot of faith in what their odds are.
Bare bones.

That's very generous
But we should be OK.
I would price us around 6 / 1 myself
How would anyone feel if they put a tidy sum on us to go down at 16s.
50 smackers gets you brucie bonus 850 big ones back including stake money !!!!
Insurance policy to compensate for the doom of demotion.

Well, if Swansea are already as a good as safe, there are eight teams in danger of going down and we're the best placed of those eight. So if you've got us at 6/1 I can only conclude the bookies know a lot more about how to calculate odds than you do.

We didn’t avoid relegation last season because of Readings points deduction, Cardiff benefited from that as they would have gone down.

without the points deduction there would have been a lot more pressure on us and who knows how we'd have coped and if we'd have got the results we needed

Despite the Wednesday game and Plymouth look at the league table and over the last 5 games we have accumulated more points than anyone around us, in fact only Brizzle in 12th have accumulated more before u get to Boro in 9th. Amazing considering we can’t score and does show consistency and hard to beat. Looking at the 6 pointers wonder whether we already potentially have enough after all the results went our way, surely 49 would have been enough. Our weekend starts Friday with Plymouth Leicester.

Tyler obviously made a big impression on Rowett at our place - he's had zero minutes in three games since.
I still cannot believe the decision makers at St Andrews looked at QPR and said "yes, that is the blueprint for footballing success. We must follow it as far as humanly possible."

I can’t see Rowett looking at Dozzell and seeing him as one of his hardened troops either tbh
He's already said he won't be in a rush to play Dozy. L1 for him next season, and that is only because he's played there before.
Meanwhile, Ipswich could be in the Prem, with Dom Ball on the subs bench!
I can see it now ...
"well, Dom Ball has his 2nd yellow, and he's off for taking out Eze in the final moments, but Ipswich will have their first win of the season. Ball has taken one for the team there."
zzzzzzzzzz

But hold on, let's put the icing on the cake and appoint Rooney 😭

I didn't bet on us at 6 / 1.
I said if I was setting the odds it would not be 16 / 1 relegation for us but I would price us currently at 6 / 1.
Ie I think 16 / 1 is generous odds given by the bookies.
I not parted with any cash sir !!!!
Bookies generally always win, but was surprisedat our odds !!!

The pressure was there nonetheless, no one was going "ah, that's OK, we're safe now" because had we lost at both Burnley and Stoke (as well as Bristol) we'd have gone down on goal difference.
We still had to win at least two of those remaining games to be sure because we had no control over Readings results.
