Whats your gas bill like ! on 18:43 - Dec 3 with 6496 views | dirk_doone | There are still enough gas reserves left in the North Sea for the UK to be self-sufficient. The problem is companies found it cheaper to import gas from Russia than to invest in exploiting the new reserves. It's a bit like the railways: once companies are privatized, profit is everything and that means as little investment as possible. Ultimately though, the drive for short-term profit tends to rebound on both the companies and their customers. [Post edited 3 Dec 2022 18:47]

So true, the elephant in the room is always over population, the sooner we realise the latest robber barons hate us and want us dead the sooner we can rid ourselves of these so called Elite predators.
| I wholly disapprove of what you say and will defend to the death your right to say it. |

Unfortunately, it already has. It's going to be a very long time before we can recover from that self-inflicted wound to our country. Nigel Farage, Vladimir Putin, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Boris Johnson you have a lot to answer for.

You need to get a sanity check if you put those British politicians in the same group as Putin. Btw no one with half a brain thinks Brexit is done

The trade unions formed by working people fund the Labour Party, what's wrong with that?

Brexit to me was control of our borders, and N. Ireland trading as part of the UK, plus leaving the ECHR On your other point unions funding the Labour Party and then pulling their strings eg Corbynistas is an undemocratic conflict of interest, as is Tory billionaires buying peerages - Starmer has that right
