They look like an absolute state for next season. Already being linked with a whole load of expensive rubbish again as well.

I feel sorry for Morris. He will have to dip into his pocket again to pay off Keogh & all of the Derby employees, and none of it is his fault! A serious question. How likely is the prospect of administration for the club? Is that the only way out for Morris?

Don't have much sympathy for Morris. Same as many owners. He's gambled and failed. Their treatment of Keogh despite his stupidity, was abysmal. They deserve everything thats coming to them.

I think it's more to do with the media's fawning over ex-big club players when they become managers than any specific problem with Rooney.

Derby now 4th bottom on 19:16 - May 14 with 2673 views | Beestonranger | As I'm relatively local I heard Derby fans giving it the big 'I Am' about their accounting policies when this first emerged a couple of season ago - they thought they were being cleverer than the other 71 league clubs doing it their way. I also dislike them in solidarity with number 2 son who's a Tricky Tree who absolutely hates them (not that I have much time for Forest having seen us lose there too many times).

I'll do my best; Firstly Rooney on his day was a very-very good player probably superb in fact. (my opinion of course) When he came back from America or wherever the f uck he went to and Joined Derby as a player the media decided that the whole world should know about it and started a campaign of telling the whole world that Rooney was now playing for Derby County , in fact the media reported that FACT every single morning-noon and night, I started to think, Hmmmmm I'm getting a bit pissed off with this now. Then lo and behold Derby County sacked the bloke who was Managing the club, I don't know his name it might Ron or some such, they then spent an awful long time reading Rooney's football Managerial CV before taking the obvious decision to give Rooney the Managers job at Derby County due to the fact that his football Managerial CV was second to none and would/could never be equaled. As soon as Rooney became Manager of Derby County the media decided to re-name Derby County "Wayne Rooney's Derby County" . Doesn't matter where you went or what you read or if you like pickled onions or not there he was a picture of him under the heading "Wayne Rooney's Derby County" he was even on the front page of the Australian Yoga Journal Magazine. I then thought to myself Hmmmmm now I really am getting pissed off with this. In other words I'm sick of seeing the c unt. And. He has a head like a King Edward potato with a small bit of earthy type mud on it.

re despising Roony/Derby, I really despise Schteve and the way Mel Morris kept trying to sidestep ffp. Yes I'm bitter we koped a load but really peed off how others seem to get away with murder. SWFC finally got their comeuppance in a painstaking way but Derby are truly a master of the dark arts, they even whacked the final nail in Weds coffin

As others have said it’s mainly the media fawning over ex-players being parachuted into management jobs and his Man U links, but for me it’s also because he’s a horrid little scrote more generally. Massively over-rated on the pitch and borderline reprehensible off it.

You've missed out the bit about his Derby playing wages being paid to him direct by the shirt sponsor, on the pretence that he was actually a "coach", in order to get around FFP rules. And his slagging off of the travelling England fans to the TV camera after getting booed at the World Cup in South Africa. And his documented cheating on his pregnant wife with prostitutes. And his drink-driving conviction. Apart from that, smashing bloke.

Overrated ???? Behave , you seriously believe that England’s all time top scorer & Man Utd’s all time top scorer , The closet player to Gazza if not better imo, not at the messi or Ronaldo level but for a period of time he was close If anything blame the media for any overhype but Rooney was a quality player (2002-2014 ) could play in any position as well If you don’t like him fair enough but he wanted to play for his country and always gave a 100% Shame he was with the “golden generation “ who couldn’t put egos aside and boot this England team

Agreed - and I'm not really fussed about England. The media's fawning over WRDC and the club's flagrant and huge breach of FFP are the main issues. It is also irritating that Derby get so much coverage because of their manager whereas a lot of Championship clubs, which have been relatively more successful than Derby for a long time*, get little if any coverage - and I include us in there. Derby also treated Keogh appallingly, stank out the division all season and deserved to go down. *They have had one season in the Premier League since relegation in 2002 and that season they ended with 11 points - the lowest ever. Derby now 4th bottom on 09:36 - May 15 with 1805 views | QPR_Jim | I'll always remember that game at old Trafford, he fouled one of our players from behind should have been a booking at least and have seen red cards given for similar. 5min later Ashley Young's offside, diving and getting one of our players sent off for nothing. That penalty counting towards Rooney's record breaking goals talky. So yeah I don't like him.

I thought he was way overrated. He might be England's all time goal scorer but for me he never showed in the big tournaments. For that reason he is way down my list of great England players.

Yep, just the one goal in a World Cup.
Derby now 4th bottom on 10:09 - May 15 with 3833 views | Northernr | It’s in the Mail so pinch of salt, but the journo has been spot on with Derby scoops prior, says they’re £60m in the red with £8m still owed to Cocu and his staff, and £20m to HMRC. Morris says that’s “the worst case scenario”.
Derby now 4th bottom on 10:13 - May 15 with 3813 views | BrianMcCarthy | I'm no expert on Rooney's England career and I don't know if he was overrated in the main or not, but he's one of the very best players I've ever seen live. At HQ once during what I think was a 0-2 defeat against the Cockney Reds Rooney seemed to see the game a couple of seconds before anyone else and his passing and control of both the ball and the game were a joy to behold. Absolutely quality player.
