Don’t buy at all that there’s any conspiracy here. If it’s come out that he’s had an operation, then he’s had one. He will be a free agent and will find it harder to get a team if there are injury concerns, he wouldn’t allow them to be published falsely.
As good a player and leader he is, he had been out of form prior to injury.
