He's the new Danny Welbeck. without the obscurity part and being so utterly sh!t.

Danny Welbeck could have learned a lot from a season or two at Championship level.

If he'll go on to be of identical quality to Danny Welbeck every team outside the top 6 would be matching Wolves' offer.

Theres obviously a striker in him...we did nothing too help his cause as we had feck all

As far as Prem is concerned he needs a few Evans pies in him.

He is an incredible talent.

23 in 41 at Bristol City, 16 in 20 so far at Aston Villa and 8 in 39 whilst playing in the Premier League at the age of 20 I believe.

There's no argument he's a far superior player to McBurnie. I am unsure whether he'll consistently become a 20 goal a season striker in the Premier League, however he doesn't need to. Getting 10 a year will keep him in that league until he chooses to retire or cannot replicate those sort of stats any longer.

May do ok with Wolves, personally I think prem defenders will be able to keep him quite, he also lacks a bit of bottle, I believe your incredible talent comment will be viewed as being very dramatic.

Well only a bit more than we paid for Clucas.

I genuinely just thought to myself "who is Clucas" which obviously shows how ineffective he was!!!!!!!!

Chelsea have just signed a 20yr old American from Dortmund for 58m today so clearly couldn't see a future for TA.

He was absolute sh!te for us last year and was also for Villa when they played us..

Chelsea have seen enough and got rid. They will clearly have been keeping a close watch on him last year and this.

The new Chelsea signing (Pulisic) plays at AM or wide so this has nothing to do with moving TA on in terms of squad pecking order.

I am surprised at Chelsea moving him on to be honest and it has left me wondering about the motives behind the decision. I guess it’s largely driven by scout and coach feedback but I wouldn’t mind betting that it is partly due to monetary reasons as well - they now run a vastly different model to what they did a few years back and may be looking to offset the outlay for Pulisic.

Tammy to Wolves is strange. He’s a fox in the box and likes to play off another front man. Wolves play the break with fast flowing moves. Doesn’t seem a good fit. The sort of chances he will get are the ones he missed for us.

It’s probably because he’s not good enough to play for Chelsea.

He’s just turned 21 so it’s a big call for someone there to say that he’s not going to make it - bearing in mind his scoring record to date. As I’ve previously stated, I think there is a financial motive here as well.

Do you believe that he’s not good enough to play for Chelsea in the long run?

Don't know the player but it was being reported on BBC that Chelsea had signed a young striker

Same as Pogba at Man Utd possibly . Fergie moved him on and brought Paul Scholes out of retirement to do a job. They then had to buy him back for c90m.

I really can't see that happening with Abraham though based on his performance for us last year and for Villa against us this year. Stranger things have happened though I suppose!

Yes, based on his season with us and the fact he was on loan at a Prem team last season and a Championship team now.

He’s got talent and I’ve no doubt he will improve, but top PL clubs more or less have the pick of the best players in the world. I don’t see him reaching that standard.

It looks like Sarri is not impressed by Chelsea signing Pulisic ...

Maurizio Sarri on Chelsea's transfers: "I don’t know. I’m not in charge of the market so it’s very difficult to speak about the market or the Pulisic deal. The board know my opinion. I think we need something different for characteristics."

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Both McBurnie and Abraham are stringy so expect them to fill out by 26 and both will still be internationals.

Would have been a better signing than Bony.

Tammy is a wonderful striker, as I have always said. Judging him on his first full season in the Premier League as a 19/20 year old, with a team struggling to create anything, while still harbouring more goals per minute on the pitch than any other player for us that season is ludicrous.

A lot of people clearly entrenched in their original opinion, you can tell that by such comments as ''Okay in the Championship''. Okay? The guy has around 40 goals in 60 appearances by the time he is 21. That's extraordinary... not ''Okay''.

Also the opinion that he is not good enough for Chelsea, as if that is some sort of damning indictment on his ability. Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah were deemed not good enough for Chelsea too, two of the best players on the planet that would cost you around 350m should you want to sign the pair.

Absolute snip for 18m in the market of recent times. Seems a lovely lad too, good luck to him.

They are not the same Chelsea experts who decided not to offer de Bruyne a contract after two loan spells with Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg are they?
