Nah. Too soon for him. Hes a great talent, but in a relegation battle for us at the moment, im not so sure. Just look at Sanches.

Theres a reason he hasnt had much game time in the PL for Liverpool. Besides, playing well for wales means nooooothing.

A reason he hasn't had much game time in Liverpool???

You may want to think about that statement again.

You should learn to read. I said he hasnt had much PL game time at Liverpool. Hes made 5 appearences. Mostly a sub. Hes not ready.

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

Loans — These are officially called temporary transfers. Under Premier League rules, there are restrictions on how many players Premier League clubs can loan from other Premier League/English clubs. They are: - Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.

Sanches on his way back by all accounts.

While we have Clement, no chance

This kid has the lot ,potentially and comparisons with what we have now are cruel.

He’d be perfect for the way we played 4 years ago. Put him in a Clement team and he will be left isolated, get bullied off the ball and eventually be coached to turn and pass sideways or backwards instead of running at defenders.

If we are going to persist with Clement, I wouldn’t bother with small, sleight, creative midfielders, he won’t use them properly.

Tend to agree with this, but we're desperate for any kind of attacking threat, and Woodburn likes to run at defenders and create chances, something very few of our current squad are capable of doing.

It's probably him or Albert Adomah on a permanent...

Not ideal, but better than anything we can expect from our numpty recruitment team.
Woodburn not Adomah, obviously.

Although I'm sure the fûckwit Jenkins still has a hard on for him.

Top top player on what we have seen so far.

He is a goal scorer.

Exciting.

With his age and lack of experience he would be a risk, but on the basis of his skillset he would be a good choice. Quite apart from his tremendous strike against Austria, his assist against Moldova was superb - first time cross at full tilt. He should suit Clement's 4-3-3 very well. He also scores loads of goals from set pieces - so would add something to that department. His work ethic is also very impressive. All in all a good fit.

This is also the sort of signing that would make sense to the board from a financial perspective - with no long-term cost should we be relegated. As long as signing Woodburn wasn't used as an excuse for not signing a number 10, such as Viera, this is a no-brainer.
