Amazes me that she is in Plaid Cymru, historically a party on the conservative wing of politics. Yes back to where she should be, wouldn't surprise me if she defected with a 'heavy heart' to labour when the time is right.

I'd have to consider not renewing my CAMRA membership in that case. Then again, the discout in the No Sign Bar pays for itself so maybe not...

He'd be a disaster! At the moment, PC are a complete joke with little or no chance of making any real impact. If Leanne steps down they could become a credible party. Please, no!!

I answered straight away, check the thread. ''Next I would guess but when is next ? If Plaid retain their 3 seats then I think Leanne will stay until the next Assembly elections which wont be for another 4 years''.

I've been at events with Adam Price and spoken to him a couple of times and he doesn't strike me as someone who's particularly dynamic and could mobilise support. I may well be wrong. He's a nice guy and bright, which you'd think is more important. But it's all about presentation these days. What are your thoughts on Rhun ap Iorwerth? He seems a better communicator as you'd expect because of his media background, and I've liked what I've heard from him this campaign.

ap Iorwerth has a proper Welshie name too. Leanne Wood? Adam Price? Not very Welsh those - clearly fail trampie's purity test.

I'm nothing to do with Plaid, only a voter and on the odd occasion I have heard talk of who will be the next leader its Price and Iorwerth that are the two that I have heard/seen mentioned, I would go with Price but hopefully Plaid will hold their seats today and hopefully even make a gain, all the parties outside the big two are expected to be squeezed, but pollsters don't tend to poll on a seat by seat basis, so although their polls seem to be saying Plaids vote share will be down its seats won that count, if Plaid do ok seat wise I would expect Leanne to be there for the Assembly election when that next comes around, of course all leaders will be in danger of losing their position if their party is perceived to have done badly.

A handful of seats at best, shameful when you consider they are the only Welsh nationalist party running. It's about time they stopped wasting their and everyone else's time. Just like Trampie they have become a topic of ridicule and laughter. [Post edited 8 Jun 2017 14:43]
