The most beautiful time of the year 08:35 - Oct 25 with 2536 viewsperchrockjack

Surely Autumn.

I wouldn't be pretentious enough to post a photo of whst appears from our bedroom window but trees in majesty ,mist on fields and sun reflecting on mountains in distance.

Not too far away I can see the sun rising over a skyline of Mans ingenuity in stone and glass.

Truly, we re a beautiful island

It's been the driest October on record, it normally pisses down with rain.

Ah, the golden light over Liverpool, like a city ablaze

Sorry, Perch that was too easy. You're right though; cracking time of year. Even better on the east coast where the leaves don't get blown of the trees. Crisp, sunny mornings with a hint of frost and a touch of mist hugging the bottom of the valleys.

The clocks go back an hour next weekend, if it wasn't for the football I'd hibernate and wake up in April.

I grew up in East Anglia and it's lovely over there this time of year. But I can see you're point having been over here for 20 years.

For me June is the best time, the greenery and the summer to look forward to

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Just a hint of mist down here Rich, but fabulous colours in the Wirral autumn morning sunshine. Lucky to have an office which overlooks the lawns of the old Leahurst House surrounded by mature trees and crazy squirrels.

Shame I have to do some work.

Very good roger, now make sure you wear a warm coat and a cap.

It's Parliament Street, Paul, at junction of Princes Rd ,where the Rialto was.

I think ,if you look closely, you can see me waving to my mum back in Swansea.

Just as well no selfies then.

Truth be told it was all rather exciting as we really thought this was it. Other cities started it all off including Bristol. Swansea was lucky as it didnt have black people and people were so peaceful.

The east always gets the best weather, my Mrs is always complaining when its pissing down here and London and that area is basking in sunshine and she's got washing everywhere with the Drier going ten to the dozen and eleccy meter is going round faster than Lewis Hamilton going round Silverstone
