They all are though. If offered, any of them would be gone like a shot for a bigger wedge and better contract (and, maybe, but a distant second, a guaranteed starting place). They don't care where they play or bench. A dressing room is a dressing room and a stadium is a stadium. Thefact these agents, and in fact the whole of football, is just so rotten just makes it a bit worse. edit...but yeah, Tabby, Shelvo and Froggo and now this agent have taken a biscuit in their public displays. It's Ayew rather than his agent though. Surely he's just acting on his instructions. I don't see Jordan Ayew being tarted about [Post edited 31 Jan 2016 9:39]

The agent will be acting on behalf of the player and with the players knowledge Jamie Moralee does it all the time

The link from Boundy is worth a read, even if you do have to translate Google translate into readable English!! http://www.hat-trick.fr/ayew-payet-gueye-la-patte-dabedi-pele-et-mark-mckay/ Shows what a money grabbing B'stard of an agent some players have. Seems a pair of Ayews, Bafe, Payet etc belong to this company and it cost us around £1.6 million to get the deal done Makes some interesting accusations about Wet Spam and Fat Sams' ability to pay over large brown envelopes to certain agents. Any investigation that would happen though, would be swept under the corner of the new pitch at the Olympic stadium. Be far too embarrassing to politicians who've gone along with Wet Spams move there. There's a 50/50 chance, maybe a bit more for the cynical amongst us, that some of those 'very thickly padded brown envelopes' found their way into the grasping hands of the decision committee. The porner brothers aren't exactly in the most honest of industries either, an industry that thrives on untraceable cash payments. Possibly I'm adding 2 and 2 together and getting just over 4 ( like 4.0000001 or under 1 for tax purposes!) But, and this isn't secret news anymore, football is like governments the World over in as much as it's corrupt as fuk. Money talks. Loadsamoney shouts. Or changes your club's identity and colour of the home strip

Oh yes he's just the public mouthpiece.Ayew will be in full support of the tactic. Expect his performances to drop off a bit after Monday. Like Gomis, they put in a bit more effort when theres a chance to up their pay.

Any transfer should not be allowed in the first 12 months of a contract Start putting some of the power back into the clubs and away from the players who slowly but surely are killing the game and ensuring that the prices go away from the fans a little bit more Everyone talks about the big money in the Premier League next season, there are only two categories of people that it will end up in the pockets of - agents and players. The Premier League had a perfect chance to turn around and demand a maximum ticket price for next season but they will never do it

I would make it that no transfers or manager changes allowed in season (yep, I know we'd be stuffed this year). All transfers in June and july then that's your season bets made. All this January tripe gets on my wick.

Ayews agent on 02:25 - Jan 31 by AussieSwan | Just putting it out there... The constant links of Gomis to Newcastle may be playing a part in this continual Sunderland saga. Ayew has often said that Gomis played a part in getting him to the club, and that the two are very good friends. So if Gomis goes to Newcastle, which could well happen if the paper talk of recent days is true, that could also prove a catalyst for Ayew to want a move to Sunderland, given its proximity to Newcastle. We'd be mad to sell Gomis or Ayew to either of those clubs right now. |
If we sell Gomis to Newcastle I firmly believe that we are weakening them in the process. It's win win.

WTF? Ayew will do his best for us in every game, as he has so far. At the very least, if his intention is to move to a bigger club, then he needs to continue to show his worth.

Well now see, I think he's upped his game a notch recently. Whether that is because Curt's system and style suits him more or for another reason is a matter for conjecture. We'll see. For the record though, I don't really believe it and would be surprised but not shocked if it were the case.

I disagree Mon. I don't think he's a mercenary and I think all of the players got frustrated playing under Monk. They way he was barking orders at his replacement at Everton says to me he cares. He may very well want to move but it will be a top six side in the summer instead of a relegation threatened side in January. He's far too good for the likes of Sunderland

Sunderland would be a dropping off spot (signing on fee, agents fee) for a move to a better club in the summer and more of the same.

Normally theirs. It would only hurt supporters if people hero worship or obsess about transient players, and why would anyone do that these days.

Trundle was my all time favourite. Just the timing of where we were and the outrageous tricks he would try in a game I told myself he just wanted one last crack at the big time when he left us. Then I read his book and I was so disappointed right at the end when he admitted moving to BC for the money. I was so disappointed. Sometimes I'm just a big bloody Jessie!

Yeah but hang on, this is hardly in keeping with his standard behaviour throughout his career is it? 7 years at Marseilles, even though it was a barking raving lunatic of a football club? It's like saying Peter Whittingham is a mercenary after staying at Cardiff for nearly nine years! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/André_Ayew

Ayews agent on 11:24 - Jan 31 with 1313 views | jack247 | I'm not overly worried about Ayews head dropping if he doesn't get the once in a lifetime, dream move to Sunderland this window. He comes across as the type who will work his guts out for the team regardless of what is going on off the pitch. Common concensus seems to be he will get a big move in the summer and I can't really argue with that. Removing the uncertainty for a few months is just as likely to improve his performances anyway.
Ayews agent on 11:30 - Jan 31 with 1289 views | siralan | I can not see him leaving if you compare his attitude and work rate to someone like Shelveys you'll see they are a million miles apart. If next season he wants to go fair enough but you have to be looking £20m plus. [Post edited 31 Jan 2016 11:31]

Look at it this way though, he could have lied to curry favour...."hated to leave, didn't want to, but had to test myself, blah blah..." To admit he went for the money makes it better in my view, as it's true and something every rational human would do. The ones that get my goat are the badge kissers and pretend 'loyalty' merchants...."you'll have to kick me out of this cloob.." until the first better offer comes along. Normally the case Phil, but I feel on this occasion his agent is buttering Ayew up for the move. He has history with Sam. Ayew is being very poorly advised by his money grabbing tw*t of an agent. Isn't his old man highly respected in football? A move to Sunderland makes no sense whatsoever.
