Redknapp wouldn't play Mattie Philips for God knows whatever reason. Just think if we'd had him for some of those "bonus" away games. Redknapp's an arsehole, fvcking with our club and with players careers. We now have a millstone called Sandro around our necks. Who the hell will take him off our hands with his wages and injury record ?
Makes perfect sense if he doesn't get picked because he doesn't train, and doesn't keep himself at a level of fitness, commensurate with being a professional footballer. Makes no sense if he doesn't get picked simply because Redknapp or Ramsey/Sir Les don't like him.

I wouldn't stand by redknapp if the argument was 'is today Monday' and he said it was! that crook just made everything about him, no AT, dropping Phillips, signing Rio, BZ, NK, sandro/sandra, selling Simpson; amongst other delights.
Adel is a grade A prick but was still treated like shit by someone whose job title includes the word 'manager', when 'manage' was something he was clearly not fit to do. Redknapp never appeared to try and get any resolution with AT and just ran to teh media spilling his guts in public when it should have been dealt with inhouse.

His fan club has gone a bit quiet Fred!
I bet you cheered SWP on yesterday jon. "More respect for him and will remember him more fondly." I havnt gone quiet over Taraabt, what a waste of a player. Still, at least SWP turned up in training ,played well and collected all the cones after.

SWP has been acting professionally , training well keeping himself fit & available for selection, him not being good enough & on a silly contract is not his fault. He obviously has the respect of his team mates & former colleagues
Bad choice of words that I will remember him fondly tho, I just think he's less of a cnt than Adel 'Bad Egg' Taarabt!

But no matter how good he was when he played, you shouldn't pick him if his attitude to training and fitness is shite and unprofessional. It sends the wrong message to the rest of the players, particularly the youngsters. And team-mates usually end up resenting prima donnas.

Difference between being a coach and a manager I'm afraid, Derry was saying on the radio at the weekend it was not until he became a manager that he understood that every player is different and you have to manage them in different ways went on to talk about how Warnock did this with Adel in the promotion year and how he gets it now.
Would not surprise me if Adel threw a paddy over the West Ham game, frankly I threw a paddy over him being left on the bench for that game.
Would also add that I see Barton being one of those "bad eggs" The trio of Warnock signings SWP, Barton and Traore have been very destructive in different ways

He was a one Championship season wonder. All that and any respect he may have had from that is gone from me. He is not interested in buckling down and getting properly fit to play his best unless he can be treated like a prima-donna and stand out as an exceptional player. The fact is in the Premiership or any other top league he has lost the chance of becoming an exceptional player because he isn't prepared to work hard enough at it. He could possibly have been a great player, but its too late now and his influence can only be as a bad example to any players at our club.
I don't sit anywhere with Adel I stand with my leg poised to kick him out of our club.

Tbh Jon i've gone past caring and boring myself with talking about him. The club has got a lot of things wrong, for me,one of them is the management of Taarabt. I dont know what goes on behind the scenes but i'm almost certain now Taarabt hasn't help himself. A wasted talent. The so called "bad eggs" are not the reason why we've been relegated. Redknapp will be over the moon that the attention is being deflected away from his balls up.
