I did make the point on another Liverpool related thread. I bear no malice towards Brendan, though personally I think Liverpool would be mad not to get rid of Brendan and bring in Kloop.
Football is about opportunities that come along due to circumstances. Liverpool have been presented with an opportunity to bring in a hugely charismatic and brilliant coach who in my opinion would be ideal for them. I know he hasn't had a great season, however all coaches go through bad seasons. If Liverpool keep Rodgers they will have more of the same next season...at times very good, but ultimately not set up to cope with the marathon that the league is.
Is Rodgers going to overtake Man U..def not, Chelsea, no chance, possibly City if they keep Pellegrini, Arsenal...I'd say no.

True but you have to say for the amount of money being spent on the squad last summer I would except them to challenge for the league and to go far in the champions league. At the end of the day that is what a club of liverpools stature should be.Under Benitez they were challengeing for honours most season and were good in the champions league.

Lacking confidence in his own ability is something Brendan could never be accused of.
His activity in the transfer market is an odd one. It's no secret that he likes bringing players along with him from previous clubs. He did it here, he's done it at Liverpool. Not sure if he had complete involvement in stealing half of Southampton for about twice what they were worth though.
