If it is Matty obviously I would wish him all the best because a footballer's career is a relatively short one and I'm sure any such move would no doubt be financially beneficial to him and would boost the clubs bank account relatively big style
However if I were him might just be considering that his career was very much on a downward slide twice when Dale have come in to sign him and set him on the right road to a reasonable level.
Also lets remember when KH signed him a second time that he stated he felt we were lucky to have him and he could go on to again play at an higher level
