Glad to see I am not the only one who struggles to understand the reasoning behind this decision, if its because you feel let down by the club, board and manager then I am definitely subscribing to the confused.com website.
We all knew the score when we bought our season tickets, the club has yet again backed the manager with funds and the transfer business over the summer was good as highlighted in a number of Clives articles. There were only two transfers that were definitely questionable, the sale of Simpson was baffling and may have been done to help balance the books with FFP looming. The purchase of Sandro for a such a large fee for a small club like ours is excusable if the player is fully fit and had an extensive medical. It seems almost impossible that Sandro could have had an adequate medical on transfer deadline day and if he had would we have then shelled out 6-10 million when there were better options at cheaper prices ie Diame.
Then theres Harry, a lot of people have developed a massive dislike for the bloke and its true he is his own worst enemy, his constant profile in the media either because the press keep hounding him or he just wants to make even more money for the Sandbanks retirement home pension fund. I wish we had a manager who just got on with the job and wasn't a "media whore" but hes ours and we have to live with him. I agree with a number of posters I don't see Fernandes sacking Redknapp, hes too scared now after the previous sackings, wants stability and he genuinely thinks Harry can turn it around.
I have never been a great fan of Harrys, I am often baffled by the team selector tombola, his tactics or lack of them and in previous games his substitutions.
After the last two weeks of reading this message board I was worried the atmosphere at the game would be toxic, when we got to the stadium it seemed unusually quiet before the match. When the game started the fans got behind the team and the team responded excellently with probably the best 45 minutes so far this season, that was followed in the second half with an even better atmosphere as everybody could see we had a serious chance of winning the game. The outcome of the match is now history, we should have got at least a point but it was the total commitment of the players that mattered to the fans.
I personally think that our home form has been OK we just seem to fall apart as soon as we go on the road, something that has to be fixed if we are to have a slim chance of staying up.
Selling your ticket on Viagogo because you cant make a match seems reasonable, the fact is if you are charging big money for the ticket the only people that will probably pay are tourists and opposition fans.
If vou are a QPR fan then all the above ups and downs are part of supporting the Rs, ive done it long enough to know. From my point of view the board backed the manager and Harry hate him or love him had a plan which before yesterday wasn't working.
All the home games so far have been entertaining and worth the entrance fee, the world has seen the worst side of the team on Sky TV.
I guess I just don't get why you ditch wanting to support so quickly after you have bought a season ticket, its QPR surely you expect Turmoil it goes with the badge. If we stay up this year it will be a major achievement and some people already have us relegated. |  |
