Wembley tickets - buying and selling on 16:17 - May 14 by 08olesen
Aside from the fact that im not a season ticket holder, this whole system seems very odd.
Allowing season tickets holders first priority i understand and applaud, however giving people 2nd and 3rd rounds of tickets seems stupid. Surly it just means that the people who couldn't front a season ticket at the beginning of the season are going to lose out or have to pay to an extortionate amount for someone who wants to make a few quid.
It may sound bitter but i traveled away to crawley and wycombe on Tuesday nights for pre season as did many others and now get no chance of getting a seat for a play off final.
you'll get a ticket, do you not know any season ticket holders or members who can get you one?
I'll probably have a few spare season tickets that can be used for the 4th phase, i imagine plenty of others will do as well

After one adult and one child ticket please. You'll be rewarded with a drink or two!! 30 years a member until this year when I couldn't get to games so didn't bother. If the late great Daphne Biggs was still around I'd ask her but alas hoping to get some help from this esteemed board. Not sure how you will get in contact with me but please do! Thanks. Ben.

I can get a ticket for playoff final for £10! It is the following day at Easter Road for the Scottish one though lol.
Don't know what to do about this one though, I never pay more than face value for a ticket and waiting too long means the travel costs go up. Definitely going to the Hibs game so will be in mainland UK so see what the next few days brings

Kind of ironic from someone called GloryHunter!
Irony - exactly - well spotted. For what it's worth, and before you all lynch me, I think the ticket allocation is inequitable. It should be one each for ST holders, followed by one each for members (this used to be a promise of memberships - guaranteed seat if we reach a Wembley final), then open sale based on previous ticket purchases.
Meanwhile, back on planet earth, I'm looking forward to next season's Championship, with 47,000 people trampling over each other for tickets to see us play Brentford.

Being a member still guarantees you a ticket.
ST holders deserve a perk, in this case 2 per ST is fully justified as there are more tickets available than we have members and ST holders.

Why do ST holders need a perk? We get a ticket. If we get two tickets, we can take a mate, who might have been to LR twice in their lives. Or we can flog it for a profit. Neither is fair. Tickets should go to genuine Rs fans - some of whom have been on here slagging me off for daring to post my opinions.

Thanks sheppetonrs
I've read with interest today the problems with people getting tickets. I remember something similar with Leeds when we got promoted. You would think people would learn a lessson!! Just to put my thoughts on it (not that it matters) I think they have got it about right with the allocation. I feel for TF as he has tried to give ST holders an advantage, but to guarantee members a ticket he has had to do 2 separate phases for members otherwise if he said 2 tickets each for all members and ST holders, there may not be enough to go round. I think it is absolutely right ST holders get 2 each, I just hope they do not find their way on to the black market, as that would be wrong. I have used my 'extra' tickets for my brother and his kid, as at least they have been this season. But there is a part of me which thinks they should have got membership. Everyone knew the play-offs were a very real possbilty, so why not just be a member? Otherwise what other way is there to allocate tickets? Maybe i'm being naive but I hope a ST holder or member would be far less likely to flog a ticket for profit than the general public??

That's my view too. I've no problem with the allocation but I just hope the number that are bought to sell on at profit is minimal and that gives more a fair chance. Odds are that many of those that haven't got a ST or membership is a question of money so tout prices are no use to them either I'm sure. I will hopefully get a ticket but I refuse to pay more than face value (done it with for 4 Hibs cup finals and have always ended up with a ticket) only way to lessen the effect of the touts. Obviously the fact this game is in London rather than Cardiff last time will increase numbers wanting to attend here but I'm still fingers crossed!

hello mate. Look, me and Karl really, really need tickets and quickly. We need to somehow work out how to escape our sea-bound rocks. I tried scamming my bosses p.a. today, no tickets but a verbal warning.....

Well I really do hope you get a ticket mate, there should be enough to go around if people are sensible and don't try and make money out of it. I don't blame you one bit for not using touts and I certainly never would. It just makes the problem a whole lot worse. On reflection, maybe loyalty points should have had some priority, I've heard a few fans on here saying they've done a number of away trips this season which rightly earn plenty of loyalty points so for those people I think they are entitled to feel a bit aggrieved. Apart from that though I think the allocation is fair enough.

If the place is full of R's fans and I miss out that won't bother me other than the disappointment of missing out as I am low on the list of loyalty points these days but I'm still of the opinion there will be a general sale and as long as there are a few thousand then I'm practicing 'fastest finger first' all week!

One thing Hibs fans do is spoil eBay sellers etc by putting ridiculous bids on tickets it has made a big difference. Last 2 Scottish cup finals we have had about 21000 tickets with a ST number of approximately 8000. 2 per ST and a membership scheme with about 1000 members who got 2 each and a few hundred hospitality deals, there was still a good number left for general sale despite wails and gnashing of teeth about numbers. I got mine in a phone sale through ticketmaster both times by being patient but as DistortR is saying time is our enemy!

It's all going a bit quiet at the mo' on the DaveWebbosphere as the first tranche of ST's allowed have being enjoying a first day on sale feeding frenzy (fare fooks to 'em) but..
I've even humiliated myself by shamelessly begging to the Dear Leader & his posse from The Towers - none of whom I 've met & I'm sure have plenty of rellies & mates who want sorting.
Got no firm leads or irons in the fire as yet.. Please,Dave Barton ticket posse, please!
Two adults and one child wanted ( a boy of 6 called Stan, named after you know who)..I realise 3 tickets is very, very, very unlikely.. so at the end of the day gatta think of No.1,It's ONE TICKET FOR ME! So sorry Stan & my old Danes school-mate & QPR programme seller Dad in Devonshire..it's every R for him or herself..
Will cycle to any London address to hand over cash (I do not have a credit card so can't book over blower myself.)
'I'm 18 with a bullet.Got my finger on the trigger,I'm gonna pull it.."
Love,Peace and Fook Chelski!
More like 20StoneOfHoop now.
Let's face it I'm not getting any thinner.
Pass the cake and pies please.

So where are we then?, lots of people wanting tickets and a few that might have some for sale?
I am personally still looking for an adult and child ticket for the game, if anyone has any spare then please PM me and I will be very grateful, me and my boy have been to 8 games this year and while that's not 'super fan' levels its been about as much as I have been able to manage for various reasons.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!!
Does anyone still think that tickets going on general sale is a possibility?

Another request here for tickets (2), I was a season ticket holder for years in the West paddock and then changed to membership once I moved down to Devon. Did not renew my membership last year so am in the same position as others hoping upon hope that some tickets go to General sale. If anyone can help, will be most grateful (edit* anyone from this area going ??)

Why?
Because we all invested north of £500 in most cases, and considerably more in some others, at the start of the season, when most on here were predicting melt down and a mid table finish at best!
