I have my doubts whether the Liberty concert will sell out based on the fact there's been tickets on sale for several other venues (some indoors) for weeks and that the cheapest tickets are over £60. |  |

True but based on the other gigs you mention they have regular live gigs in and around that area where as down here we have feck all on this sort of scale on a regular basis plus the other venues hold a lot more people | |

What a massive draw for swansea. I've seen KOL 3 times and they are excellent. Not much crowd interaction but they sound better than they do from studio.

I don't understand why more big bands / acts don't come.

I would assume it's due to the damage it causes to the pitch - and I would also assume that we are laying a new pitch shortly afterwards.
There was a club a couple of years ago that was so desperate for money that they pimped out their stadium and had something like 3 gigs in the space of a week. Destroyed the pitch completely and the manager was peeved, but they needed the money. Can't remember who that was though, want to say it was somewhere up north. |  |

I indirectly know the owner of Orchard Entertainment and it is a well known fact amongst people 'in the business' that he (Gareth) monopolises the live music scene regarding touring bands in South Wales and he very rarely, if ever, puts on gigs outside of Cardiff. He must be confident of making a huge amount of money with this. | |
