If the Board have no faith in ML then they should sack hi as long as they have someone in mind to replace. If not then they should ,if not already , be looking at new players being brought in which will result in us getting wins quickly and get us out of danger. This is a very tight league and it could be a case of the relegation of all 3 clubs being decided on the last day of the season | |

Maybe he isn't, Matt. Who knows? ML isn't giving much away. All the noises seem to be coming from the board room. It was the same pre-season, June and July full of speculation about his future and signings because the club and Laudrup went mute. Here we are in another window and history is repeating. I'm full of admiration for him, I genuinely hope he turns the current of poor form around and the last thing I want to see is him walk away or get the chop. But we're up sh*t creek with our injury list, we have 9 days left of the transfer window and we've signed nobody. Confidence isn't exactly brimming here | |

That is very fair comment and the sort of post that some hate,ie reasonable and balanced.
I don't have that faith.
I remember him as a great player in the true sense but one who didn't have the devil in him.If he had it would have made him one of the greatest 5 ever to have played the game as he was that majestic but great players don't make great managers ,Sousa was a great player, Bryan Robson too on a lesser scale as was Bobby Charlton who was a disaster of a manager. | |

Our strength in depth is fine I think. 7 or 8 first team players injured doesn't help. We did probably need more numbers with Europe but how are we meant to buy players or keep players without the promise of games?
Our form is worrying but the performances aren't bad. A few mistakes defensively and the lack of goals apart from Bony has been our downfall. |  | | |

Surely it's the other way round? He's brought in some absolutely quality players. Bony, Michu, Canas to name but three. I'd say he's only really made a couple of complete dud signings. His abilities as a manager however...
