It was a United Nations force that stopped the Chinese and USSR backed invasion of South Korea by North Korea communist forces. Despite the North Korean forces vastly out number United Nations forces the invasion was stopped and the North Korean forced forced out of South Korea.

No peace treaty was ever signed. Democratic South Korea has boomed while North Korea has abandoned communism in favour of a dictatorships . North Korea has one of the worst standards of living in Asia.

Of course it will grow this year. That is the result of war production not that many Russian's will benefit from it.

American was far richer in 1945 than it was in 1939 after 6 years of producing arms for the World.

Still Russia GDP will be far below what a country that has its resources should be.

Seems it was too big a job for Putin. Russia the world's largest country with virtually unlimited natural resources is 37th in the world based on GDP per capita.

Meanwhile incompetently run UK has the sixth highest GDP despite being only the 27th largest country by population and 80th by land area.

Often those in the public sector are suspended on full pay while investigations take place. They are often on "gardening leave" for years at a time or agree to take early retirement rather than disciplinary action. All of course funded by tax payers.

Is that why British troops were stationed on the Falklands before the conflict?

Fact Argentina is an ex colony of Spain and is largely inhabited by people of Spanish decent. The indigenous population of Argentina were virtually wiped out.

Fact the Falklands had no indigenous population the were uninhabited. The Falklands were never a Spanish colony.

On that basis, the UN decided, that neither Spain or Argentina had any territorial rights to the Falkland Islands.

Unlike Ukraine which the UN considers an independent country which is illegally being invaded by Russia.

Another figure released recently shows the population of the UK increased by 1 million in the last year nearly all due to immigration.

Another shocking figure is that the number of patients registered with GP is 5 million more than the population of the UK. Either doctors are claiming for excess patients or the current UK population figures are totally inaccurate.

Unless you are a business trying make a profit with incooperative workers and unions.

At least workers in private companies will have the same rights as public sector employees who are virtually unsackable no matter how badly they perform as per most civil servants.

Apparently the Senedd wants £875,000 per Senedd member to cover their running costs.

If the Senedd it taking more power then the 22 councils can be reduced to 11 to save money.
