To some people, just another player. To OUR club and OUR supporters - THE player. Rest in Peace Stan, the original number 10. The legend. The maverick in blue and white hoops. We will always remember you 💔
Stan you were the best No one comes close to you RIP
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Seeing Stan one day on the Big Match highlights is the reason I picked QPR as a 7 year old. My dad was a massive Man U fan and I remember him saying after Stan scored “What a player” That was it, I was hooked on the hoops.
Did not know I would be this affected. We have just lost the essence, the soul, the spirit of our special football club. I got to know Stan a little and he was the greatest, most wayward, most carefree human being I have ever encountered. A giant has just left us. I will cry for days. Love you Stan, I will always love you Stan.
So sad - he was just the best. Many of us would’ve become Rangers fans anyway in the 70s, through geography or family connections. But Stan was the icing on the cake that made you so PROUD to support QPR and truly believe they were the finest football team the world has ever seen. RIP Stan 💙🤍💙
I never saw him play, to young, but well aware of his standing within our pantheon players. The biggest complement I can give is having sat one morning watching the Big Match Revisited, my 17yo son turned and said 'he's miles better than everyone, he could play today'.
