After the first half defense making the same old bad marking mistakes l thought here we go again, but second half we looked a different team. Still need someone who can put the ball in the net consistently but we look like we could be on the way back to some decent results.I like the attitude of the new manager as l believe he will get things right,A M-Niles has to start he is very impressive. All in all quite happy with the game overall and look forward to the rest of the season.COYR.

Well we did show some good grit. If it wasn't for Allison making some world class saves, the game and score line could have been different. We did have our issues at times, but I think it was a good effort and something we can build one. Thought the ref did a poor job and seemed to favor Pool on any 50-50 ball. Now we have the WC break and the new manager can have a real look at players and see who is up for it.

With just one day to work with the players, it was always going to be a big ask for Jones to get anything out of this match.

Formation looked all over the place in the first half. Full backs and CBs didn't seem to work well together leaving masses of space. Lavia and ABK looked out of sorts.

Second half we played a lot better and impetus was added by NJ making 3 good subs just before 60 minutes. Hopefully that is a sign that we can now change things around after half time and use the bench more effectively.

On balance I think Liverpool deserved the win but 3-1 really flatters them.

As most probably realise the last time we were in the bottom three at Christmas we were relegated. And with players like Adam Armstrong in the team, the championship will be a perfect place for us.

As new manager only had 2 days with team I thought at times they played well. If our forwards new how to shoot we could have won this game in second half

I shall say this only once.

We have a 23 game season from Boxing Day and need approx 26 points. That is perfectly possible so I am going to take the glass half full view. We scored a goal and there were promising signs. Just a pity about the first half defending.

Positives from the match -
Scutler can pass forwards, did more forward passes in 90 minutes than he has done this season.
Throw ins are taken quickly instead of waiting for everyone to be marked.
Negatives from the match -
Alan Armstrong
Theo Walcott
First goal was a fluke, Bazunu should have saved it
Salisu getting booked for standing still, that used to be obstruction, not a bookable offense.
