DC confirms in his interview today that we had 'multiple' offers for Samson (most of the Championship apparently), but it seems like none matched Robbie and Danny's valuation and/or was the right move for Samson. Apparently interest in our 'other attacking players' too - that'll be Edwards and Payne for certain.
Scully sounds like an investment for now, as he is still post-op recuperating, but I get that. Maybe a half dozen games at the end of the season, and then we're first in line for his signature when Pompey release him in the summer.
I'll say again, all in all an excellent transfer window. |

Scully is back for the remainder of the season on loan, and apparently after surgery, better and fitter than he was before - fingers crossed, and welcome back Anthony Scully! |

Noah probably knows better than anyone, but I sincerely doubt Mr Matador (the chap Lyle paid the taxi fare for) has a driving licence - happy to be wrong though. |

...and without any disrespect to Owen, I'd take Matt Macey all day long.
Another telling stat, on the last ten games form table we're on 16 points, or about 74 points over 46 games. Last season that would have comfortably made the play-offs. We're definitely moving in the right direction. |
