Today with no football on for us and a quick look through what's on I'm watching a bit of the Big Match Revisited - Joe Jordan scoring a banging header for Southampton against West Ham. Then over to The Magnificent Two on ITV3 at 11 followed by The Giant Claw on Talking Pictures - that's not a bad few hours compared to the general dross that is on tv these days. I've reverted to watching Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo in the mornings before work so a lot of retro tv from the good old days for me.
Chair, Chair He's here and then he's there Pocket rocket in hoops of white and blue Standing five foot five and not five foot two I had thought he was till I checked his stats for this rhyme
Heck what's happened to Plymouth - winning 4-0. We know of course - the Rooney effect had been in full force. Have they got rid of in time to save themselves - could be. Ryan Hardie looks like a QPR supporter I know in Penzance - couple of penalties for him tonight and it helps that Millwall have scored for them as well
Well done to Plymouth - am just watching the second half on plus 1. And in other news Queens Park have beaten Rangers in the Scottish Cup - Fergie time from the ref in that one.
Frank Worthington - I was too young to appreciate that look on men in the 70s but being older now that's a look I can appreciate. Not sure that it will ever come back or have the same feel though.
A trip to a local convenience in Penzance. Honestly what a joke that amount is - I can remember my mum getting a notice of 4p in total at sometime in the long distant past, which was less than the postage it took to notify her, but I think that was because she was married and hadn't worked mostly all her life.
I took so long with that last message as I didn't want to sound negative about marriage so I'd rewritten it about 10 times which is why I'd missed the song you did pick and said the same thing. It's the lyrics of the forever romantic optimist that is me and I do think as you get older you get better at these things but it's not something I'd give a go again. All good wishes for you both from me and I'm sure you'll succeed - there would never be a dull moment.
Good luck Disco, I've been married twice, realised I was shite at it after a pitifully short time and will never do it again under any circumstance . There was a very quick shuffle into the register office both times and no time for or suggestion of a musical fanfare in those days, but perhaps the Genesis one that I put on a thread the other day Follow You Follow Me for the sentiment of the lyrics for the hopes of the occasion.
