Sadly unless the Tovide situation is resolved quickly there will be no more additions to our team.

I have always given Hops the benefit of the doubt but sadly as soon as LT went off the goal threat disappeared too.

There must be a case for either JK Gordon or Oscar Thorn playing up top.

As good as LT is he cannot play every game and so we either refuse to sell Tovide and he plays Saturday or give Thorn and Gordon free rein.

Two strikers are required as a priority.

Whatever people's views of the Vertu Motors Trophy the opportunity to play in the quarter finals was gifted to a poor Cheltenham side.

I don't blame Macey. After all during our 11 game unbeaten run he kept 7 consecutive clean sheets and last night made one great save.

We outplayed the Robins and gifted them the game.

I am so disappointed because we needed that trophy distraction but we threw it away.

Bromley will be difficult at best.
I expect three points against the Sulpherites though.

The quarter final was there but we threw it away.

RC must spend some of the war chest on two strikers.

It is the old story
No striker once LT is off

And let's sort out the ST saga this week so we can bring in two strikers

However we desperately need a striker.

Once JT went off we lacked attacking threat.

Oh well just the play offs left for me to get to Wembley this season.

For those armchair fans (like me tonight) the game is on Sky Sports +

Safe journey for the 30 CUSA hardy supporters

Hopefully Samson will start tonight.

I reckon 2-1 to the U's

I'm afraid he never impressed me and whilst his injuries have been a real impediment to his progress he never showed any suggestions that he was the answer to our goal scoring woes.

Interesting that Pompey reported only yesterday that we were overseeing his rehab.

Good luck Scully but it won't be at Colchester.

Frankly who cares.

Luton are a busted flush and Bloomfield would be foolish to leave Wyscum.

Let him finish the job at the Chairboys and go somewhere at the end of the season.

But in the meantime I'm only interested in keeping Tovide and signing some new players for Colchester.

Destiny Ojo striker currently playing for Cliftonville and formerly of Pompey is interesting the U's at present.

Don't know much more than that.
He is 20 years of age.

Anthony Scully is apparently still a Colchester player and we not Pompey are overseeing his rehabilitation following his latest ankle surgery.

However there is little likelihood of him returning to action anytime soon.

A bizarre situation at best.

You will all remember that it was Huddersfield who signed Jordan Rhodes from Ipswich for £750k.

Rhodes and Joe Taylor are similar players and the Terriers are investing £3m in JT to fire them to promotion.

Luton deserve everything they get this season. They have behaved appallingly towards Taylor. Difficult to fathom when they are playing poorly and their performances are so disappointing.

Anyway if nothing else it finally secures JT's future.

Now we have to make our signings to get us up to the top seven in this wretched league.

Any chance of some good news for a change.

Have we forgotten we went 11 games unbeaten only recently.

Donnelly is a big loss but Tovide would be an even bigger one.
