I will be there. Mad, eh? Expecting nothing at all, but hoping that sh1tty Scotty Parker only wants to win 1-0 or 2-0 at worst. Last time I was there Rowan Vine scored my all time fave QPR goal running the length of the pitch to shoot into an empty goal because Gabor Kiraly with his baggy jogging bottoms was up for a last minute corner to try to equalise. No Frey bad, no Colback bad, no Paal - hooray! Just dreading the next "minor" calf problem to be announced with the team news. 2-0 them. Promise from us, but ultimately huff and puff with no attacking threat whatsoever. The football will ruin a good weekend away as per... |

When will they confirm kick off time for Burnley (a)? Currently it's a 3PM kick off, which is ideal for my plans whereas 1230pm would be a bit of a pain. Anyone? |

Found this, nowhere near as good as ours and I am not sure that the leg room at HQ would allow the dance (but then neither would common decency tbf...)

| Forum Thread | Citee suing the Prem at 05:52 6 Jun 2024
Utterly abhorrent. Yes, FFP / P&S are flawed and work in favour of the big clubs, but there is something very, very wrong about signing up to the rules and then crying foul when you fail to follow them. If they win, you might as well give up and just let them take over from the Premier League. BUT, if they do then surely that MUST set a legal precedent for QPR and other teams punished by such rules to challenge. If it was/ is unfair all along then it has to bring those decisions back into the spotlight. Just like QPR were, Citee MUST be tried against the rules in place that they signed up to and charged accordingly. If those rules are then deemed unfair, the Prem then need to change those rules, but AFTER the punishment.. What will happen though is that this will be used in some way to reduce their punishment to a fine lower than the one we got with a "light" transfer embargo and no other punishment. They will then be freed up to do wtf they want. Unless the rules are truly illegal, it has to be a condition of membership of the FA and the Premier League to sign up to the rules and agree to abide by them WITHOUT resorting to the courts. The authorities attitude should ALWAYS be: "if you REALLY want to take us to court, fine, but we revoke your membership". Surely, they have that right? I suppose they do, but they do not have the spine to do any such thing... [Post edited 6 Jun 5:54]

| Forum Thread | Confession time - Play off winners at 19:15 27 May 2024
Aside from Clint Hill, Jamie Mackie, Richard Dunne, Chief, Danny Simpson and Shaun Derry I really did not like our Play-off winning team that much. The feature on the website reminded me that Rob Green was an over paid unnecessary goalkeeper, Bobby Z did nothing at all in a QPR shirt aside from THAT winner and the goal against WBA and that I am in the minority about Charlie Austin - great player for us, but not that like-able. Barton can do one, SWP was useless, Traore was just odd, Krancjar and Benayoun were just "meh", Assoit-Ekotto felt unnecessary, then there was Doyle, Aaron Hughes, Ravel Morrison, Jermaine Jenas, Johnson, Will Keane, Maiga manaaged by the Uber Tosspot in Harry Redknapp. Am I alone? |
| Forum Thread | Fox v JCS at 17:47 10 Apr 2024
I'm guessing that Marti has seen Fox training well and maybe thinks JCS needs a rest, so he put him in last night and I thought that he was one of the better players on the pitch - well done Morgan. But, what now? To me, JCS is borderline PoTS and is clearly the better player and should NOT be rested again on Saturday irrespective of how well Foxy did. But, what about putting Fox at left back for the Hull game? Paal was, again, ineffective last night - technically good, but a bloomin' liability and simply not creative going forward. So, I'd go for the four CBs v Hull - thoughts? |
| Forum Thread | England - Chel*** players at 19:51 23 Mar 2024
Gallagher and Chillwell utterly garbage tonight. Just like Mount and James have been for England in the last couple of years. I know I'm biased, but wtf has a mid table team got two players in this England team for? Southgate is England's biggest handicap. Maguire too - needs a new club. Shocking. |
| Forum Thread | Interesting post by the club at 20:45 22 Feb 2024
No mention that the use of VPNs to use QPR+ is not permitted. Presumably the club want the fans to get a VPN and go to Belgium whenever they can't get to a Saturday 3pm kick off. Interesting... |
| Forum Thread | So go on - that ref yesterday at 15:28 18 Feb 2024
Stopping the game for injuries, not head injuries, just injuries. Bell went down clearly having done his hamstring and sat down. Play carried on until the ref stopped play about 15 seconds later. No head injury, just a routine hamstring tweak, but apparently that warranted a stop in play. Then, to compound his ineptitude, the ref. allowed Bristol City players to stand five yards in front of Steve Cook for an "uncontested" drop ball and then, er, well, challenge him leading to a hoof down the line conceding possession. If he hadn't stopped play, we were away down the left. Then someone else went down (again NOT a head injury) when the Bristol City left back had possession with his back to goal surrounded by two Rangers Players and the ref whistled again restarting the game with a free uncontested (properly this time) drop ball ten yards in and ten yards further forward from where Bristol City had possession, this time pressure free. On the second of these, the payer was not asked to leave the pitch and they just carried on with possession. Both gave Brizzle a significant advantage from where the ball was when he unnecessary whistled. Anderson went down with an injury just before going off. No whistle. We had to kick the ball out ourselves. Consistency is all we ask for. Every week win lose or draw we never get that; they remain a disgrace to their "profession"... (I miss Pinner reacting to my consistent criticism of referees - Paul, are you out there???!!!) |
