The crotch won't be quite so sore if we still get a drink from the transfer.

Maybe because Cambridge can't find the compo we require.
Personally would have thought Leyton O a better bet for him.
George Moncur thoughts?

It must have been a good offer and as DC said he, RC and Dimitre sat down and discussed but de idea it was to the benefit of Colchester and the player.
I just hope we can keep Kells fit for the complete season as the guy from Sutton does seem a bit of a risk given his injury record over the last two seasons.
I have never seen Frankie Terry player so if anybody has be good to hear as hopefully he is close to being Nle to hold his own in league 2.

Hopefully DC's weekend chat with Chilvers went well and we will see him sign in the next few days.

It was I and thanks for confirming the figures.
Scott Lindsey is fairly on the ball so guess he doesn't think they will make a go.of League 1 but if so a high risk.policu or maybe contracts were up and money the issue. Wonder d Dallison will go back?

Not a huge step up as they could easily get relegated next season but maybe better money and security of a 2 year deal although would have thought we would have offered that.

I didn't know until today that although DC only played semi pro football he was actually in the Wimbledon Academy.
In 2017 Huddersield downgraded there Academy to Cat 4 but ate now looking to upgrade and recently they achieved Cat 3.
DC & NC were Managers in 2019/20.

They are as per something RC said last year.

Whilst 4 of the recent signings didn’t come through the Academy in the accepted sense of the word like Dammie E did they joined as young stars because of the Academy but quickly progressed to the first X1.
I don't think the Cowley bros have an eye to signing young players rejected by clubs higher up the pyramid.
Might be wrong as we have signed a few for the undervw1's somaybe DC concentrates on the first team and others talent spot for lower down.
It does seem several under 21's are close to getting I to the first team.such as Terry, Thorn and Sandah.

IMO bit of an odd signing as could have kept Akinde to do the same job!

Does make you wonder about the quality of the Managers/Head Coaches we have had as agree impressive to ve able to sell 5 players who cost us very little to bring in/develop.

When a player comes on loan I wonder if they have the same medical?

One word sums it all up carnage!
Hunt seems a decent signing.
Does seem DC doesn't really trust our Academy players to get is up the league.
Hall's departure an odd one but does DC see a lot of potential in Terry?
Wonder if Smith the one who allegedly failed a medical.on Friday and we didn't want to take a chance?

Excellent comments, you aren't Danny Cowley in disguise?
Most of us trust in DC and NC but we have had so many false dawns over the last 4 years or so.
I don't know how season ticket sales have gone but feeling seems to be they are up on the last few years.
So far DC seems to be close to achieving what a set ot as as his objective to have the majority of the squad in place for the start of preseason.
On the OM it is being said rumours are 4 more in this week with 2 out.

Pretty much hits the nail on the head.
We can but hope the Cowley brothers stay and build something but our fickle fans will soon turn on them although it is how most clubs these days are run.
Braintree have certainly pushed the boat out this close season and Sarfend still have huge issues even though they now appear safe from going under.
All we can do at this stage is trust in DC but suspect for reasons already set out are finding it far from easy to get in the players they want.
