| News Comment | Why Is Nathan Redmond The Whipping Boy ? at 12:20:31
I think he will prove to be a good player, he takes players on and more often than not....& does lose a man with pace or skill, his end product needs work but he has also been unlucky at times with some good saves near misses and the post/crossbar, I think with some more time and confidence he will be a good squad player and any fan moaning about him is your typically champagne fan who demand not expect and moan rather than support. My only consolation to the moaners and groaners is that managers always rate players these players that the fans turn on and the club seems to still be doing well I do miss the league one days when a player who wasnt good had more support than ever, yes it was sarcastic but at least the fans were united not unfairly moaning Typical Southampton FC view now, win 1 nill away from home in the premier league and thats still a negative |

Losing Jose would be a travesty, jose has said he would go IF a top top club offered him a good deal, but losing him to everton would be a step too far, Pella to china was a good deal for 2 reasons Strikers we have a few of and to china is not a concern Losing Jose to Everton would be a strengthening a direct opponent and for 9mill we could not replace like for like Jose is the last player from the league one days and the clubs captain and hero and he stands for a lot for the fans over the years If he does go please may it be a top club team but really what I would like is business pushed aside especially the joke 9 million offer and Jose offered a good deal and stay until retirement |

Oh and when Adam was on he carved the defense open at times and he will be a massive blow IF he is out and he was MOTM for saints against newcastle (for me) Him and Gaston dont seem to link up well but Adam is the key man still for me saints MOTM for me was Morgan aka the interceptor and hard worker against QPR |

I always read this every week but have only just commented, the first goal was a total sucker punch and even after saints equalised they never looked like winning Cesar was injured (literally barely walking around) for about 15 minutes and still not tested My last concern is when we were chasing the game bringing on JWP for the goal scorer??? I know NA did that sometimes so is this a choice from above the manager??? We havent exactly failed in January but we have yet to see the main signing but as someone else said its the defense which is still a problem and the team for over committing sending the defense up too which makes counter attacking easy |
