Agreed. Not to mention the divide between championship teams with parachute payments now and idiot scum down here. I mean, every year the teams that finish 11th-21st are the same sort, never challenging and always just surviving. I hope Blackburn go the distance just to spice it up a little. |

I assume the next step in Saudi Arabia's desperate ploy to convince the rest of the world to turn their attention (and focus their money) on their football. After offering the GDP of a small country to players so obviously past it to try and make our football league entertaining and failing miserably, let's now host the world cup! That way people will HAVE to look at us... |

I'd agree with Luton, and usually would with Cov... but Lampard is not a manager I'd want to be giving the reigns to in their position. He's like Parker and spends as much as possible to succeed, and even then doesn't look comfortable. I'm v interested to see how that goes with them, but I'd expect them to be down here for the foreseeable. |

Yeah, but Hull turned that form around three games ago as you mentioned. We're yet to string two decent halves of football together after 8 games. |

We've been pretty crap all season haven't we? I feel like we've conceded the exact same goal about 20 times now, player gets to the edge of the box, nobody goes near him, he shoots and either scores a worldy (sigh) or scores an irritating deflection (even bigger sigh). I mean, compare that first goal to Eze's last week, pretty much a carbon copy. How many times are we going to slowly trudge out to the man on the edge of the box? Repeating these mistakes time and time again is what irritates me the most |

Assuming they'll be constantly communicating so that they're on the same wave length. I think Marti was, however, pushing really hard for Varane. Madsen was also his neck of the woods when in charge of Aalborg in Denmark, so he might have had a say in that too. |

I think very similar to Hevertton Santos -- looks like a LB on paper but would be used as more of an attacking wing back/ winger. Or, could be coverage should we lose Paal. |

Absolute radio silence from the club today regarding anything to do with this. Usually a squad announcement or a "checking in" at the destination update. Also nothing regarding players whose contracts are up today. Bit weird. |
