| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 12:50:04 If we don't start scoring from open play soon we will be in trouble. It looks like we are going to have to outscore the opposition to win matches as it seem impossible for us to stop making individual defensive errors and giving away silly goals. Too much of our play and running yesterday was horizontal and not vertical especially in transition from the middle to the attacking third. Spurs were so packed in defence that we couldn't find space between the lines so we needed more forward penetrating balls and fast runners. Of course as always we don't seem to be flexible enough or bright enough to work that out during play. Maybe Hutch is so rigid in his control of his players that they are now scared to express themselves freely by doing something that has not already been proscribed as our tactics for the day. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 12:31:16 Very strange outcome. Shows clearly that possession means nothing. Hutch was clueless from beginning g to end poor team selection, too many players out of position and we end up 2-0 down at HT. No way back from there with ten men back and packed together like sardines. We huffed and we puffed but we could not blow their house down. HOWE 5 v HUTCH 0 Lovely tribute to Leon Crouch. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 20:49:21 An outstanding performance by Romeu coloured in an otherwise somewhat gray and murky performance from both sides. Don't usually moan about refs but Mike Dean was simply dreadful today, so inconsistent it made your head ache just trying to figure out what he was seeing that most could not. Danso behaving like a complete idiot didn't help us at all when we had a chance to win the game. Ward Prowse! How come he gets to spectate for free pitch side when the rets of us have to pay £50 |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 10:30:41 Very much a game of two halves. Best we forget about the first. Dreadful finishing, why haven't we hired Ricky Lambert to show them how it should be done. Ings does not convince, the more he plays the worse he seems to get. Needs to get his head sorted out. Lucky for him that Adams still has a lot to learn. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 12:36:49 Credit to Hutch for re-integrating Sofiane Boufal and bringing in Djenepo, discredit to Hutch for a lousy team selection that would have cost us dearly but for the red card and sticking with players like Ings who never deliver and Ward Drowse who seems to have no clear position that he can nail down. Ref good today. |

| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 18:25:20 KriSaint, Hojberg did not play well yesterday in fact he played poorly by his usual standard whether he was still out of sorts is hard to say but he seemed too hesitant both on and off the ball |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 19:22:22 One that got away. Bednarek the bad boy this week. Ings, what does he offer? A striker that misses sitters. Hoj a bit off colour still. Romeu & Ward Drowse jointly our MotM |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 21:46:44 Thank goodness this season is over. Absolute s**** at the beginning, absolute s**** at the end. A whole season of "we need to learn from our mistakes" , a whole season and they have learned nothing at all. What a load of aimless crap we had to put up with today, half this team needs putting out of their misery for good. No wonder there were hundreds of empty seats and thousands left before the final while thousands more couldn't be bothered to stay for the lap of appreciation. Hutch was not at all happy with what he saw today and clearly wants and expects big changes over the summer. We must hope that Gao can match his ambition. The next three months may well decide our future as a Premier League club. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 14:05:28 Maybe there's a conspiracy going on in the Premier League, the way team picks a crap side so that the home team is guaranteed a win in their last home game of the season so fans go home happy and team of better things next year and crucially stand in line to renew their season tickets? Well, you never know... nothing is impossible. ... er, Ward Prowse winning a one on one tackle maybe. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 18:28:44 One to forrget. Shame for the fans who went up, club should reimburse them. Bloody funny team selection, surely Hutch knew enough about the fringe players not to take the risk on playing them or doesn't he care about finishing 17th. Well he is responsible for today's fiasco solely and playing to lose smacked a little bit of arrogance to me The annointed one was bang on form today even falling over in his own box when a tackle would have been easier. One more yellow and Oriol will have the complete set and can swap them for a dunces hat! |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 09:57:01 Too many of our players thinking of the beach. Ralph's team selection all wrong again. Glad when this miserable season is over. Hard to pick a man of the match as nobody played well or as if they even cared about the outcome. Feel sorry for the 1700 who gave up their weekend to watch this dross. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 09:58:34 A poor match but a good result. Lots of huff and puff about Wolves but no real threat yesterday other than corners. Great to have a right winger with speed and guile at last. Should start over the dreadful Ward Prowse for the rest of the season. |
