I think it's fair comment to say that if he hadn't had to change tactics last season due to Bazunu getting injured, they would still be a Championship side this season.
But now he again flies in the face of reality and opinion and goes back to the same old bullshit backwards possession style which doesn't work, but his massive ego won't allow him to change it,
so fu ck what everybody else thinks. |

Let's not forget that Bournemouth sacked Scott Parker after four games the season before, And Gary O Neil went on to win ten games after that, with comments from Parker and others that the squad was not good enough for the Premiership but O Neil went on to prove them all wrong.
Here, Martin has been focussing on player 'mistakes' although it's become increasingly obvious he doesn't really have a clue about anything else other than playing it out from the back and the nonsensical sideways and back stuff.
On two occasions now, he was forced to change things - last season when McCarthy came back in and could not play out from the back - result, much better performances and winning promotion.
And this season, after an awful start, forced to change it again, with a real improvement for 30 minutes. against Man U. but his stubbornness still persisted in starting Stephens, who was at fault for the first goal and then gets sent off. A win needed next or piss off somewhere else with your stubbornness and arrogance. |

It just gives an insight into Martin's mind set when he vehemently protests over a tackle that was 100% red card all the way.

I don't recall any 'far right' Brits detonating a bomb and killing 22 people and injuring over 1000 others in Manchester (2017), or bombing and murdering 52 people and injuring 700 others in a coordinated attack on London transport (2005) or driving a van into innocent people on London Bridge at 50 mph, (2017) killing eight and then begin stabbing and cutting people in Borough market, including one defenceless girl 15 times , while shouting 'this is for Allah'.
I also don't recall any 'far right' characters grooming and sexually abusing many young girls in Rotherham and other UK cities(while of course the police looked the other way for fear of being accused of racism or acting like nazis).
Meanwhile, hatred of all we stand for in our English Christian way of life continues to be spouted by the likes of Anjou Choudary, islam4uk, sharia4uk as far left Jeremy Corbyn protested against extradition of terrorist suspects from the UK.
And they still keep coming, no doubt some will be radicalised. |

Bazunu getting injured got Saints promoted in the end, because Martin had to change it to fit McCarthy in.
Otherwise, they'd still be pissing about at the back in the Championship, which does give an insight what can be done with this squad (and now with a few more good players) if he is forced to curtail his stubborn arrogance. |
