Not sure Westwood could have done much with the goal. It took at least one deflection, off Dykes I think, and he was unsighted I think. A lucky goal really with ball getting through all those players, but someone should have picked up Norwood. |

Shirley Hendrick replaced Dozzell, who had hardly got Invoved. It looked like it from where they played, and I think Warburton said as much after the game. Thomas replaced Amos, no idea why unless as you say he's protecting his knees, and Austin replaced Gray. Even though the electric boards had it all different if I remember right, it all happened at the same time. |

Don't get all the negativity about Hendrick. He plays quick, accurate and forward passes, which especially the quickness of we've been lacking. Some good long balls too, including one diag yesterday of some 60 yards that picked out Chair left side and free almost on the goal line. Came to nothing as most with Chair these days. But that pass was the best of the game other than Willock's that Gray shot wide. |

Got to agree with Stainrod that our aimless hoofing out from the back especially from Dunne when we were under the cosh 2nd half was just self perpetuating the pressure on ourselves. I've seen no other comment on this one so I'm probably well wrong, but I thought Marshall despite his great early saves was well out of position, glued to the near post for the own goal, or what would have been a Boro big chance bang in front if Albert hadn't got there. The ball rolled into the middle of the goal but Marshall was still trying to get unstuck off that near post. I also felt the Referee was way too lenient. Willock was kicked out of the game 2nd half and possibly out of the Barnsley game too, by that hack on his standing ankle which clearly hurt, and he did little thereafter. Field got similar treatment yet just the one yellow was given I think. All well and good letting the game flow, but not to the extent that the most skilled are kicked out of the game. |

The main problem with the Squad for me is that there is no good back up for Field as I think our goals against record to date à ĺrèady suggests. Also Dunne is the only quaĺified cover for the other 3 CB's. Another injury or suspension there and we are in the brown stuff. I'd have preferred that we had signed a DM/CB, a younger Cameron if you ĺike to the extra striker we signed last minute, |
